The security had tightened up as the meeting had begun. You had your special glasses on, laid a finger on the side as you started to scan everyone in the room. It would be hard to track them or find a connection to Flag Smashers from here, but now at least you had all their faces scanned to when hell broke loose. Zemo stood at the opposite side of the room. It's already gone an hour with discussion and honestly, you had fallen out a long time ago. In your mind, you were still trying to work out Contessa's role with Walker. When that thought was done you went back to thinking of a way to secure Zemo out of jail. Suddenly the light turned red and the screens went off.

"Something is happening guys, we are in full lockdown. Get ready," you said to the guys on the ear.

You gave Zemo a little nod as you went into the room beside you with a bag. Within a minute you were fully changed and entered the room in your suit. The confusion filled up the room as the politicians started to worry about what was happening. You went directly up to Mr. Johnson, Zemo following you on the other side. You told him to keep being calm and that Captain America, as well as Bucky, are right around the way. Everything was gonna be fine.

"Sharon, what the hell are you doing here?" Bucky said, right out of the blue.

Both you and Zemo looked right up at each other. Sharon was not supposed to be here. We had all agreed that it felt like too big of a risk, so what had changed now? Last two weeks we had only been talking about how important it was that we were talking together as a group and now suddenly somebody had made their own choice and invited Sharon? You stepped away from Mr. Johnson, making sure he couldn't hear anything.

"Why is Sharon here, I thought we agreed to do this ourselves?" You asked harshly. You could already feel the stares from people around you. Not because they could hear what you said, but now it was much more clear to people who you were. You straighten up, trying to brush their eyes off you.

"Relax Y/n, I'm only here to hold up my part of the bargain and make sure Sam gets my pardon, that's all," she said, joining us on the ear. She sounded calm, but you knew something was off. She would never do something without gaining something out of it. Not the Sharon you taught. You wanted to yell at her so badly to run away from this place, but you knew that wasn't your job.

"Okay Sharon is already here, we need all the backup we can have. I trust you, Sharon," Sam said naively. You shook your head. Zemo walked over to you. He could see how annoyed you were. Personally, Zemo wasn't sure what to think of Sharon. Based on her family history and her own track record, he had no reason to trust her, but at the same time, if you didn't trust her, how could he?

"It's fine y/n we..." more couldn't he say before you noticed a few men taking on flag smasher masks as they threw out some type of gas. You laid a hand on his shoulder.

"We need to help them out" You immediately said, Zemo didn't hesitate and did exactly as you said. You led them and Zemo made sure everyone got out of the room without passing out. That's when one of the Flag Smashers jumped up. You didn't spend a minute on him. You jumped up and kicked him right in the face, causing him to fall down.

"What is happening on the outside?" Zemo said and walked up to you.

"Nobody from the air," Sam reported. You could hear the wind as he spoke. You took a look around. Something felt wrong.

"Nothing. All quiet." Bucky said.

"Nobody is walking towards the building," Sharon added. That's when it clicked for you, and Sam.

"Karli's not coming in. She's trying to force everybody out," you said and walked over to the entrance where many people were heading.

"It's a misdirect. Y/n keep everyone inside." Sam ordered.

You gave a nod and ran over to the evac team to stop them when suddenly somebody came from the side, kicking you down, making you fly at least 5 meters through the floor. You look up in shock and unaware of who the hell had the guts to run up on you like this. You immediately went up on your knees, looking over at Zemo giving him a sign that you were okay, he only needed to make sure nobody ran out. You look back at the madmen.

"Your friend cost me a lot of money"
