Everything was black. Your body was in pain, but mentally you were numb. You had no idea of space or time. The only thing you knew was that it felt like forever. You could already feel the power damping collar they had put on your neck. Slowly your eyes opened up, your eyelids heavy to bear. You were in a glass box, and it was black as far as your eyes could let you see. For half an hour you only stared into the darkness. Everything from the mission came flooding back to you, torturing your mind.
You sat up in shock, like a nightmare, but you were fully awake. You could feel a cold tight power demping collar around your throat. You were cold sweating and your breath got heavy. That's when you got your eyes on your arms. They had strapped them to your together making it impossible for you to move them. You could feel the panic building up inside of you. Of course you had heard of the treatment of powered individuals and mutants, but it was different when you experienced it first hand. The fear of how society viewed mutants were a big reason why you had never lived like one publicly.

You looked out to the room. All the walls were white as well as the floor. You could already feel your own mind getting clouded. You only had a blanket and a thin pillow in the room. When you worried about your apartment being empty, you would just look back at this moment. Question is if you had an apartment after this, they probably already had raided it. You got yourself up on your feets and walked to the middle of the room. They hadn't given you any medical help, but they had the time to put you in this ridiculous blue prison uniform. Shockingly, the pain from the fighting wasn't what was worrying you. It was the blood running through your veins. You felt different. Disconnected to yourself. Even with your powers damped, you should be able to at least feel the field even without metal around you. The field should feel empty, but you couldn't even feel the field itself.
"I see you have finally woken up Y/n Lehnsherr" A man said as he entered the room. You turned so you were facing him. It was the same man that had stunted you earlier, whenever that was.
"Where am I? What day and time is it? How long are you gonna hold me? I have the right to speak in front of a jury and make my case" you said and walked towards the glass wall.
"Are you done yet?" he said as he sat down on a chair in front of the glass. A smile curled up on his lips as he nodded to a floor. "Please sit down," he said.
You looked down at the floor and shrugged low. He clearly tried to humiliate you and you would lie if you said it didn't work. You already felt little inside of this prison cell. You had no knowledge about what had happened to you or if the boys were safe. You straightened up and shook your head. You were maybe hurting, but you were not gonna sit down on the floor for this man. He smiled weakly at your decision.
"You know, this cell is actually a blueprint of the one you father had" he said and knocked on the glass. You didn't like it when people talked about your father, as he actually was your father. When you were little and with your mom still there were the only years he actually was a father to you. When you got your powers, you were only his secret weapon until you left him.
"Well, that means I'll be able to get out of here just as easy as he did," You tilted your head. The man started to laugh and pointed his finger at you.
"Oh, but you are not gonna want to do that. You see, we have made some improvements since your father escaped" he said and stood up. He looked back, the same direction he came from as two other men came walking in. Both were wearing lab coats and were pushing a small rolling desk towards you. You looked up at the man confused. "Remember the stun?" he asked and touched his neck to remind you.
"It's a new kind of anesthesia, especially made for mutants" he said with a little smile and looked over to the men in lab coats as they started to get the needle ready. Whatever they put in you, was some kind of purple liquid.
"Miss. Lehnsherr, you have been here for five days. We wanted to take as many tests on you as possible, and with you.. let's call it sleeping, it's a lot easier" he said and took the needle in his own hand.
"Naturally we had to stun you a lot over the last few days to make sure you didn't wake up." He said and walked towards the door of the prison cell.
"The thing is.. This anesthesia... It now runs in your blood, and it has started to take over your mutant cells. The second you stop taking the anesthesia, your mutant cells will start to fight back, and how can I say this..." he said searching for words.
"You will become unstable. Physically and mentally" he said with a chuckle before he opened the door and stepped in. You were speechless. You immediately walked to the end of the room. You really didn't need anesthesia to be unstable. If you sat by yourself for too long, your own thoughts could easily do it for you. You knew you had zero chance against them, not with you in this state.
"Lucky for you after the hysteria you created in Riga and with John Walker being discharged, the whole world is now looking over to you... Meaning tomorrow it will be possible to get you bailed out... for 25 million dollars and we will get to keep you for an extra day for research," he said with a laugh as he walked over to you.
"And tomorrow you have a visitor, but meanwhile.. We need you to take a nap," he said, and before you knew it you fell to the floor.
