"Sam said we're good to go, are you ready?" You asked while putting your earpiece in.

You looked over at Zemo, or rather Alexander Petrov. Did you choose east European names to cover up his accent in case he would be needing to talk? Absolutely. Did Zemo make a big deal out of it? Of course, he did. Zemo had the face vial on and had just copied a random guy's face or it was the guy we had gotten ID to Zemo for. If you were being honest, you didn't like it on him, which shouldn't be so shocking or strange. You liked Zemo best when he was himself.

"Yes, let's go in," he said, with a little smile on his lips.

The two of you walked towards the building as you went up in the line. The building was massive, with over 40 floors. It was a lot of ground to cover, but your job was simply to follow the politicians around. You were prepared that nothing really would happen until a couple of hours when the streets got dark. Zemo was wearing a black suit, white shirt, and black tie. You had an almost identical look, besides you had glasses and had to wear a skirt. You weren't the biggest fan of it, but you knew the rules at a mission like this. You weren't really undercover either on this mission, more just laying low until something was happening. Everyone who took a second look at you would notice who you truly were, but that was the whole point of you being here. Sam thought that maybe your presence could scare the Flag Smashers sympathizers. You personally doubted that. Since the beginning of this whole mission we had understatement them, that's how they always got away, cause we were never prepared enough. You scanned your cards and went through the barrier.

"I like the skirt," Zemo said as the two of you walked down the hallways

"I like the skirt," Zemo said as the two of you walked down the hallways. You looked up at him and laughed low.

"Have a good look today, you will only see me in a skirt when I'm forced to," you said with a light chuckle. Zemo looked down at you with a smirk as he tapped on the button for the elevator.

"Well, I like it," he said with a smirk on his lips. The two of you stepped into the elevator. You crossed your arms.

"You like it cause it's easy to access, don't lie," you said laughing. Zemo's smirk grew, and he leaned towards you, but seconds later the elevator opened with people who joined us. He immediately stepped back, giving you more space. You looked up at him with an 'i told you' look in your eyes. He fixed his suit jacket and straightened up. Finally, you came to the right floor and walked out. Everyone was dressed up in their fancy clothes, which was only fitting to such a fancy place. The whole building was basically glass, so you could see the city from every angle. You walked straight over to the government officials as you took out your hand to greet them.

"Hello Mr. Johnson, it's an honor to meet you. My name is Y/n Lehnsherr and here I meet my partner Alexander Petrov" you said and introduced the two of you, as you shook all the other politicians' hands as well. Zemo knew his role and kindly greeted them.

"You didn't really need an introduction, Miss. Lehnsherr. I think we all can agree that your name is on everyone's tongue nowadays," Mr. Johnson said with a light chuckle. His tone was demining, but you knew better than to snap back at him. You kindly gave him a nod and clapped your hands together with a smile on your face.

"Oh, I'm sorry if I have caused too much trouble. Today I and my partner will simply just look after you, as I'm sure you've already been informed about," you said with a warm smile. On the inside, you were stone cold. You didn't exactly love the group of people you were around and they clearly had a bias against you, good or bad. Mr. Johnson had a little laugh as he clapped you on the shoulder.

"Not at all, it has been a nice distraction for the people from our work. We owe you one" he said, and you had to work so hard to not say or just push his arm away. Of course, he had a stupid reason like this to like you. The fact that you had been taking over the headlines made their dirty work a lot easier to achieve when people weren't even looking at them. You looked at his circle of co-workers with a smile before you took a step back so you stood beside Zemo.

Zemo had to admit he was impressed by how relaxed you were in front of them. If this had happened in your spare time, you would've had all the right in the world to throw the dude out the window, but you didn't even blink an eye. For most of this mission, it's been another fight after the other. Seeing you like this, relaxed, focused, and working was yet a new side he found to admire by you.

The two of you spent hours walking after Mr. Johnson, with very little to pick up on. It was now only a short time until the meeting would start 30 minutes give and take. Were you disappointed that you hadn't been given more information by these idiots? Absolutely, but it was the second that the disappointment sank in that the politicians suddenly actually talked about something you were interested in. You knew that you shouldn't interfere, so you kindly listened to them from a distance.

"Interesting how Mr.Walker got a new job so quickly after being dismantled," one of the politicians said.

"It's white privilege in its best form," a younger woman clapped back. Mr. Johnson rolled his eyes at their conversation.

"I'll be the first to admit that it was a bold move, even coming from Contessa Valentina, but it was not white privilege. She will probably just use him as a tool in the games she keeps talking about" Mr.Johnson said.

Oh, you had heard about Contessa Valentina before, or Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine as her full name was. Her preference, if you don't remember wrong, was easy and simple, just 'Val.' In your bounty days, Val had tried multiple times to get a meeting with you to discuss work, but you had dropped it every time. Val didn't offer the money other operatives offered you, but if she had the money to get Walker out, she seemed to have grown since your days. What did she want with Walker though? Of course, everyone would like to have a Super Soldier on their side, but Val must really need one since she bothered with Walker's mess. Meaning that whatever she is doing with him, she is desperate. You noticed that Zemo caught you in your little thinking bubble, so before he could catch the truth, you gave him an easy lie to swallow. You leaned up to him, whispering

"It's rumored that Contessa had a fling with Nick Fury back in the day"
