"I can't believe I'm doing this..." you mumbled and carefully applied the photostatic veil Sharon had given you. You looked down at your phone where you had a picture of Jubilee. Your vail transformed into her face. Zemo had told you to wear more colours and if he saw you now, he would definitely tell you to tone down. You had a black t-shirt, washed out denim shorts and her signature yellow leather jacket on, together with loads of over the top neon coloured accessories. How Jubilee could wear all of this and not get dizzy was a wonder to you.

It was no doubt that you and Charles had a complicated history together, so to even have a chance to get in contact with him you had to be creative. You still had some connections to other mutants at the X-Mansion, and luckily you convinced McCoy enough to let the defense system down for you to get on the island, but then you would be on your own. With your father being Erik and you denying to use your powers for years, after only using them for dirty work, didn't make you a favourite among mutants exactly. You had in all the right coordinates, and were now only waiting for McCoy to do his part of the job. The plan was easy, get off the boat, lay low, enter the school, find Charles and kick him down before he could ever do his mind tricks. Easy.

You looked down at your shoes, begging your powers to not fail you liked they had done earlier. You altered the magnetic field and carefully lifted yourself up. You took a deep breath and slowly started to move towards the island. It was all old tricks that just needed to get rid of the dust. When your feet landed on the green grass and not the water, you couldn't help but cheer a little for yourself. You straightened up and checked for people, but no one was close.

The worst thing that could happen was if you saw Jubilee, or if anyone saw the two of you together, but you had no plans to let that happen. The weather was nice, so the area was full of kids, teenagers and grown ups who should've moved on a long time ago, but were too stuck in nostalgia. You kept your head down and entered the mansion when you crashed into another body, causing you to fall down.

"I'm sorry, I was just on my way out and I didn't see you" Logan said with a light laugh, holding a glass bottle of Coca-Cola.

The sound of the voice was more familiar than you liked to admit. You looked up at him with a little smile and gave him a short nod, hoping that he would just walk away, but of course he didn't. He took out his arm, wanting to help you up. You ignored his helping hand and stood up. Logan lifted his eyebrow at you and looked over your shoulder.

"Aren't you supposed to be in Storm's english class?" he asked and looked down at you again. Could this man go back to his old self? When he had zero care and only minded his business? Why did everyone have to be so kind all of a sudden? It's been a long time since you had been around Jubilee and impressions weren't exactly your forte. You just widen your smile even more and nodded aggressively, that's Jubilee right? Big movements. You didn't give him time to say or ask anything before you turned around and walked down the hallway, but that's when everything went wrong, cause who suddenly stood right in front of you? Jubilee. She looked at you like she had seen a ghost and screamed, causing Logan to turn around seeing the two of you, almost identical, beside the fact that the Jubilee fired fireworks the second she saw you.

"Fuck" you mumbled and ran up the stairs, Logan right behind you. "Stop her!" Logan yelled as more people followed you. Was this the point where you should be thankful that you spent time here with Irka in your childhood, so you knew the place? The only issue wasn't your speed vs Logan, but the other mutants having abilities that easily could defeat you. Before you knew it, Angel with his full blown wings stood right in front of you, blocking the way. You immediately grabbed your batons you had hidden under the leather jacket.

"I'm sorry, I didn't wanna fight" you said forming the batons in an 'x' against your chest before you straighten your arms out, directing the vibrations straight into him, causing him to fall down. You stepped over him "You are in the way" you mumbled and punched him hard enough to just take him out, but Logan came right up behind you, with his claws out and pushing you to the wall. "Who are you and what are you doing here?" he yelled spitting in your face.

You groaned in pain. If it wasn't for the fact that the two of you were fighting, you wouldn't really mind having Logan this close to you. He wasn't exactly your type, beside Bucky, you were more a girl for a man with the brains, but Logan was a good looking man. You tighten the grip on the batons and carefully tilted it towards him. A smirk grew on your lips.

"I'll be honest, I would love for us to stay like this, it's very intimate, but I have to go" you said as you electrified him with the batons so he let go of you. "Thank you" you said and walked straight into Charles' office. It seemed empty, but McCoy had told you that he would be here.  You stepped in and melted the door handle, making sure you at least had a few minutes left, but when you turn around you see Charles standing only half a meter away from you.

"Really y/n... all this to see me?" he said with a smirk on his lips, and his fingers getting dangerously close to his spine.

"NO, no, no, don't do that, I can explain!" you yelled in fear grabbing his hand and took away the face vail. Not that the face veil mattered as Charles could differentiate your mind easily from others. The door broke up where Angel, Logan, McCoy, Jubilee and more stood with both shook and anger in their eyes.

"Oh, you definitely have some explanation to do," he said, enjoying every minute of this.

Son of a bitch.
