We're more alike than you think

18. Selby

You knew this was the important part of the mission. You couldn't act up in front of Selby as it was way more difficult to get away with at this level. If Zemo wanted you by his side, you would be listening to him. He held your hand while walking through the hallways. There were at least twenty guards just on the way to this Selby and they were heavily guarded. The four of you entered the room. James and Sam stood by themself, while Zemo sat down. He looked over at you with a smile before he clapped his hand on his lap, letting you know where he wanted you and you did as he told you to. You promised yourself to stay calm. You had done undercover work like this thousands of times before, so you just needed to do what you always had done.

"You're taller than I'd heard, Smiling tiger" Selby said and made a sound you think were suppose to sound like a tiger sound. "What's the offer?" she asks and looks over at Zemo. "Tell us what you know about the Super Soldier Serum, and I'll give you him.. With the manual of course" he said and pointed over at James. You could feel his breath on your shoulder as he spoke. He let his hand fall on your lap. This was why he chose a split dress wasn't it? He wanted easy access. If this was what he wanted, you could play along. You leaned back so it was no space left between the two of you, that was when Selby got her eyes on you.

"I'm curious about her," she said eagerly. She moved in her seat so her full attention was towards the two of us.

"This little bird?" Zemo asks and put his other hand around you.

"What's her name?" Selby asked. Zemo looked to your side, your faces only inches apart from each other. He gave you a short nod, giving you permission to speak. You smiled weakly at him before turning your head towards Selby, tilting your head teasingly.

"What would you like it to be?" you asked, your voice so soft and innocent. You let your hand fall over Zemo's hand on your lap, moving his hand slightly more up your thigh. Selby studied your every move "I like her, can she be added to it" she asked leaning forward in her seat. You bet your under lip playfully and laughed.

"Oh, this bird only sings for this guy" you said and turned to look at Zemo with your teasing smile. You could see the lust in his eyes, he wanted you even if he wouldn't admit to it. You leaned in, your noses were touching, leaving no space between the two of you. You didn't let go of his eyes, and you had to pinch him to make him remember. He then broke out of the bubble and looked over to Selby.

"You heard her." Zemo said with a gentle smile.

You didn't wanna look at the boys. You were in shame even if both of them knew you only did it as an act, something inside of you was secretly afraid that you actually liked doing this. Which wouldn't be that bad, hadn't it been who it was. Your eyes were glued into Zemo's neck as they started to talk about the Super Soldier Serum. You let your lips barely touch his neck before you started to make small kisses.

You could feel how he tried to hide and hold back his own excitement, which made this even funnier. His breath went suddenly faster and his sentences shorter. His hands got warmer and his body language got confused, he knew he had to stay sharp, but you made it difficult for him.

Out of the blue Sam's phone rings, and you were thankful your eyes was in Zemo's neck as you couldn't hold back your annoyance. He was top trained in the military, an avenger and this is how you get caught, by him not turning his damn phone off. You listened to the conversation, it was Sarah and that was how you knew this wouldn't go as planned. You looked over Zemo's shoulder, trying to get a picture of the quickest way to get out here. 

Zemo tried secretly to move his hand up your stomach towards your breasts when you understood what he was trying to do and stopped his hand. "You are not getting the knife." you whispered in his ear.

"Kill them!" Selby ordered her guards the second Sam got caught. You immediately turned around and watched Selby get shot from the side as her guards attacked us. You threw the knife in the chest of a guy who was coming way too close to you and Zemo. You stood up and punched the guy down and got the knife out. You leaned down to the guy with a little smile before taking his gun, throwing it back to Zemo. "You should've used it." you whispered to the soon to be dead guy, before you helped the boys clearing the way.

"We need to get out of here now" Sam yelled as we stood by the door. Zemo told us to follow him, but he led you straight out on the street. Was this a suicicde mission? Had he ever been in Madripoor? You noticed how everyones phone around you started to glow up. You looked over at James who already had read your thoughts and gave you a nod "Zemo this is the worst plan ever, we should not be out here in public!" you said harsh up to him. He stopped walking and looked down at you, clearly annoyed at how you behaved "Oh, so you have a better idea?" he said lifting his voice. "Yes, indeed I d...." More couldn't you say before you heard gunshots firing in your direction.
