"Morgenthau!" John Walker yelled as he walked confidently towards Karli.

This was the man that had in many ways been the reason why got imprisoned. Yes, it was your choice to use your powers publicly, but you would've never had to use them if it wasn't for him putting you in such a situation. As much as you wanted to punch the two of them through the building you didn't. This mission has learned you a lot, one of them being to be more patient and see how things play out.

"I didn't mean to hurt your friend. I don't wanna hurt people that don't matter." Karli said calmly back to Walker. Oh, she had already stepped on the wrong foot.

"You don't think Lemar mattered?" Walker asked back. It was clear that none of them had noticed you behind the flames. They were too busy building up their own ego.

"Not to my fight. I just want the people on that truck." Karli answered looking back at the truck.

You saw the anger filling up inside of Walker as he threw the shield towards Karli, but before it could ever reach her, you altered it, stopping it in the middle of the air. Both of them looked confused at each other before they started to look around them. You could see that they were creeped out of the situation, and so they should be. You stepped out of the flames in confidence.

"Missed me?" You said with a growing smile. Both of them immediately turned around to face you. You looked up at the shield. It was just a silly copy, you could feel it on the metal. It was almost cute how hard Walker tried to imitate Sam.

"Cheap" you whispered looking over at Walker. You formed your hand into a fist as you crushed the metal and let it fall to the ground. Flag smashers from every angle started to run towards you, but you simply with a little hand movement lifted them up in the air and threw them down, giving you some extra time.

"I'm sorry my father couldn't come today Karli, I know you were a big fan," you said, walking closer to them. You knew they were too afraid to try to fight you, not after what they had seen you do in Latvia. If they only knew what you had done at Charles school... They wouldn't even blink an eye at you.

"Doesn't seem like the Lehnsherr cares for you" you whispered as you threw her up in the air and down. You looked over at Walker.

"But you... We need to talk" you said with a smirk on your lips. He ran towards you and tried to throw a punch, but you dogged it with class. You went low and leaned on your arms as you threw your legs against his, causing him to fall down to the ground. You noticed that the Flag Smashers were up again, but now Bucky had enough time to deal with them on his own. This was your time to be selfish on this mission. You visibly showed Walked that you took out the earpiece. You looked around and picked up a big metal cane through the field. You kneeled down to Walker's level.

"My guess is that if I lose this cane on you... you will struggle to breathe in 3 minutes.. and then stop breathing, so right now I recommend you answer truthfully and don't do anything stupid" You kneeled down to Walker's level, holding the cane 3 centimeters away from his chest. You wanted so badly to just drop the cane on him, crush it through his body and leave him there, but the thing was... you had grown and you knew doing that was the wrong thing. As much as you wanted that to be the only reason for not hurting him, you knew that was a lie. He had knowledge that you needed to potentially secure Zemo out of prison. You were not gonna do something stupid and risk that, not even for Walker.

"I'm not telling you shit," He yelled aggressively up to you. You rolled your eyes as you let the cane fall down 1 cm. You could see Walker's fear as he tried to make himself smaller, making sure he could get more space.

"I heard you and Val got along... or Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine. What does she want with you?" You asked harshly. You could hear that Bucky was struggling in the background, but you had no choice. Walker started to smile and laugh at you.

"All of this, only because of Val? I don't even know her!" he said. You dropped the cane 1 more cm down, he could now feel it against his chest.

"Okay, okay. Stop!" He yelled. You smiled weakly, pleased that he now seems to loosen up and be willing to spill some secrets. It felt good to have powers when it came to guys like Walker. The thing with Walker wasn't that he was a big bad bully or not even a bad guy, but what made him so dangerous was his capability to ignore his wrongdoings. He didn't see the world and its layers. Worst of all, he wasn't able to analyze his own actions.

"She only told me that the world will be changing soon and that she wanted people like me there for when we enter those strange times. I literally have no idea what that means. I promise!" he said in frustration. You could hear it in his voice that he was speaking the truth.  You shook your head and looked down at him.

"What does she mean with 'people like you? Super soldiers?" You asked. Was Contessa only using him because of his blood? Did she want to create more of them? You knew Contessa had a taste for powered people from your own personal experience with her, but her sudden interest in super soldiers seemed strange, even for her.

"I think she only meant people who can fight, serum or powers I don't know." He said. You slowly nodded your head. It made sense for her. You suddenly saw Karli running towards the car and Bucky seemed to be gone. You took a deep sigh and looked back at Walker.

"You leave now. If I see you here again, you will suffer the same consequences as your shield," you warned and dropped the metal cane right beside him.

You stood up, altered the field as you began to fly after Karli and her car. She suddenly jumped out of the car, and that's when you understood what she was about to do. You immediately reached out your hand, altering the car stopping it right before it was about to fall. You could feel everyone's eyes on you, their phones, cameras everything pointed up at you. You knew that it wasn't safe for you to use your powers, not here in front of everyone. What if you made a mistake? Moved the wrong bit and they fell to the ground? It would be your fault! At the same time, if you didn't do anything that would also be your fault. You could feel the fear grow within, but that's when you felt a change in the magnetic field.

Sam came flying at super-speed and with a little help from his tech he lifted the car slowly up. You flew down to Bucky. You couldn't help but admire Sam's strength. He was not like you and Bucky, he had no superpower besides his own heart of gold. It was what made Sam the one and only captain. He represented so much more than what the eye could see. Karli came out of the blue and threw a metal cane right at Bucky, but he dogged it and caught it right in his own hand before he dropped it as you melted it on the ground. She came running towards us when Sam threw his shield at her causing her to fall down.

"You of all people bought into that bullshit?" Karli said and took off her mask clearly hurt after all the fighting.

"I'm trying something different. Maybe you should do the same," Sam answered, as you suddenly heard the sound of a little explosion. It had to be some form of gas, cause nothing came directly at anyone. It took seconds before the whole area got smoked. Sam showed the way as the three of you started to run after them.

"Hey, Sharon. We're underground. We entered the tunnel on William. Heading south," Bucky said on the earpiece. That was the moment you remembered you needed to connect your earpiece back on. You did so as you ran. Sam informed us that they had split up, so you started to run off on your own until Bucky came up behind you.

"Where the hell is Zemo y/n?"
