It's time to updateeeee

Oh yeah, if you guys see ML's Instagram page, you will notice that they made a post on what you would want Ling to say to Wanwan.

Giving hints eh.

My sister and I agree they did this just to stop people from shipping Ling with Guinevere (ew that be bad ship no offence to those who ship them)

And I'm doing this while trying to rush out my math homework DON'T ASK WHY MY TIME MANAGEMENT SUCKS, JUST DON'T.

Okay so where did I stop off...

Wanwan's POV

Okay I take that back, I'd really rather be saved by some handsome hunk (that's for sure) than by him, but in front of A CERTAIN LIFE THREAT WELL IF HE'S THE BEST YOU CAN GET THEN YOU GOT IT SO BE HAPPY.

It's definitely not the first time we've met in the Heavens, I know it, I can feel it, but I don't exactly know it? It's the confusion.

Maybe it's post-mortal trauma, I'll remember everything sooner or later.

Maybe I'm too low a level to recover so quickly from it, unlike those gods like Chang'e and friends.

I looked furtively at the Empress, hoping she wouldn't notice me for she probably would want to kill me for my very existence and I HAVE NO IDEA WHY. I mean, if you kill someone for their existence, they may still exist some way or another.

But that's not for you to decide, not if your power is nearly as weak as a mortal being, not if you're still an elf after at least a thousand years...

HOLD UP, I REMEMBER MY AGE.

This means I've definitely existed quite awhile ago...

Don't ask me why these things are running through my head when my life is currently in jeopardy.

Like, high, high risk of dying here. *Nervously chuckles in head.

"Okay, we'll address this next time, for now, Wanwan will remain as an elf until further notice."

The Emperor's golden voice resounded through the Palace, and all four of them bowed down and said, "Yes, Your Highness." At the same time.

I followed suit, trying to make sure the Emperor wouldn't try to kill me this time.

We walked out of the palace, rejoicing that I was not beheaded by Ling, Zilong and Chang'e's parents.

Yes, they are siblings, and I just remembered that too.

Children of the Emperor and Empress, Zilong being the God of Night, Chang'e being the Moon Goddess and Ling being the God of Fire, setting him apart from his two other siblings who practised cool-type magic (like water and ice and whatnot), Chang'e practises both, but mainly uses the cool-type. Ling, being the God of Fire, practises fire and only fire-type magic.

Anyways, Chang'e suggested that I stayed at her Palace for the time being, but Zilong refused to allow her to allow me to stay at her place. He said, "Why don't you stay at ol' Ling's place for now, he seems to have loads of space in his pathetically empty palace." He said the last line in a whisper, giving the main subject a few glances.

"No."

"AWW MANNNN, BUT YOUR PLACE HAS THE MOST SPACE. NO ONE BUT YOU HIDES THERE."

He didn't reply, he just walked ahead of the rest and nodded ever so slightly.

Zilong jumped up and pumped his fist into the air, cheering as if he won the lottery in the mortal world after spending all his money on that one ticket.

Baxia wanted to, but didn't, as he knew he'd probably shake the entire continent or cause a sudden hailstorm from jumping.

Chang'e smiled.

Why, I'll never know.

All I know is that I don't really want to stay there, but I didn't say anything as I knew they'd probably not take me in and I'll have to make a house of clouds outside one of their places to stay.

That's sad as I don't know how long I'll even be staying here in this hell-like heaven (maybe it's just a really bad first impression, either that or the hell in my head is too pleasant, I don't know).

Anyways.

We visited everyone's place, first at Baxia's, then to Zilong's, and then to Chang'e's, all of which were grand and special in their own ways.

So I saw what they meant about not really having much space, even though the space they have in their palaces is more than what three huts down there in the floral realm has. So who exactly was occupying all this space? Well, Zilong has Freya at his place, and that Baxia has many many consorts and concubines – made of stone, rocks and pebbles. Chang'e has a lot of red string in her place, and a few helpers too. So does Baxia and Zilong.

Lastly, we strolled over to Ling's place. It looked mighty grand, very large indeed. The large towering doors swung open, and there was absolutely not a trace of human activity present in the palace. All the candles were unlit, and it was as dark as night, no, darker. You know with Zilong in charge of the night, and Chang'e in charge of the moon, it's never truly dark. Yet, his palace was pitch-black, one step in and you can't see your hand in front of your face.

Ling flung his sleeves backwards at his chest-level, and all the candles inside were ignited by the fire, not burning anything else. The gentle glow of the candles made everything more visible, and you could see all the grand areas of his palace. The walls were made of marble and it was decked with gold beams. The windows were a light shade of blue and a chandelier dangled from the high ceiling. (The chandelier had candles stuck on it.)

All I can say is that he is just one oddball in the family who likes to be alone, and can cook up a mean bowl of Instant Noodles. I still don't understand why.

It's okay, all I know is that I'm going to find a small corner to sleep in his humongous palace.

Hope nothing happens to me overnight.

(LONG UPDATE BUT AHEM VERY LATE SO SORRY ;-:)
