Ling's POV

I set my questions aside, shook Wanwan up, and went to the toilet to wash up. When I came out, I saw her covering the entire bed with her body, which is amazing considering her size. I pulled out my usual clothes and changed lickety-split, just in case a Zilong and half-naked Baxia rushes in again to see a fully-naked me. I then hopped onto the small part of the bed that she has yet to cover, and marked it as my territory before she did, and shook her by the shoulders. After what seemed like an eternity, one of her eyes opened very slightly. Like, very very slight. Wow, this girl is so– asleep. Now we continue to shake. If it weren't for the fact that the bed was glued to the floor, it probably would have flown out of this hotel and into the unknown.

FINALLY.

She's up.

"Why didn't you kiss me?" She asked, first thing she got up. "So that's how to wake you up?" I asked back. She nodded. Wah, this girl. "Anyways, Zilong barged in earlier and wants you to get up and meet him in the dining hall. I'll be coming with. So please hurry," I sent the message to her. She then pounced off the bed, into the toilet, and within 30 seconds she's out.

"So fast ah?" I asked in utter disbelief. She nodded. "Now look away, I'm going to change. Or you could look..." She part-warned."Nope, I'll just look away," I replied immediately. I turned around and expected her to be very speedy, like how fast she was in the toilet.

But no.

She took longer than eternity. I turned around, thinking she was done after waiting for an estimated time of 2 minutes.

Oh golly.

She was strapping on her bra when I did that. Back facing, at least. I wanted to turn around before she saw me, but too late. She turned around, and teased, "I knew you couldn't resist the temptation!" That was true. She looked so– hot. No, Ling, don't think dirty, no no no. My face started to heat up in pure, raw embarrassment. I turned around to hide it, but she also caught that. "Just, hurry up Wanwan," I rushed. Gotta get outta here.

After looking at the door for another long period of time, she tapped me on the shoulder and gestured for us to leave. I opened the door and let her out, following closely behind.

"Hey, don't tailgate!" She yelled. Oops. I lowered my head and continued to walk, trying my best to erase that image of a sexy Wanwan in my head. Blegh. I think. NO!

Anyways, we arrived at the dining hall, and a buffet was spread out in front of us. At a table not-so-far away from the entrance, I saw Zilong and Baxia waving, and a half-awake Chang'e falling asleep while sticking a spoon of cereal into her mouth. Just then, her eyes couldn't persevere any longer, and her head fell into the bowl of cereal and milk she was eating. She didn't wake up even though her face was in a breakfasty mess. I applause that. Why is it that all girls in this squad are people who get stuck in dreamland once they are in it? Anyways, we walked over to them and sat down.

"Not eating?" Zilong asked. Wanwan immediately jumped up and went off to fill bowls with mounds of cereal. I rose from my seat and also went to pile my plate with mounds of food, but not as fast as Wanwan.

"Quickly eat, they are waiting," Zilong rushed, using his hands to make this fanning gesture to get us to hurry up.

We chucked down our food, and followed Zilong to where we were supposed to meet the mysterious them, and we saw four people with their back facing us. Most of them wore mainly black and some other colours, and one wore blue and purple. She held an umbrella, but you could still see her white hair being tied at a very awkward place. The other girl had her jet black hair tied into a ponytail, and she was holding some sort of deformed hula hoop. Other colours she wore were red, black, and black. Then, one of the guys had his arm raised, either wanting the girl in blue to smell his armpit odour, or just wanting to draw his sword and swing it at the girl in blue's neck. The last one had a very weird hairdo. Purple one. They turned around, and you could only see 1 person's face out of the four of them. They bowed. Is this some sort of tradition? I don't know.

"Welcome," They all said in-unison,  the blue one stepped out and continued, "Thank you for being able to make it, now, Cadia Riverlands has been under attack recently, and as the second line of defence we have every right to fight back... and to ask for help from the front-liners."

Ahem. They have yet to introduce themselves.
