Baxia's POV
Ooh, soft landing. I stood up and swept the dust off my body, before turning around to see what cushioned my fall.
OH MY TIAN.
I saw Ling wrapping his arm and leg around Wanwan, his head against hers.
I knew it! But, why are their eyes closed? Why are their chests not moving? Uh.
"Ling, Wanwan, hello?" I called out anxiously, worried that I might have possibly crushed them to their death. I bent down and used my dustbin lid hands to shake them up.
Hopefully I haven't crushed their vital organs.
When neither Ling nor Wanwan started to move, I knew that I had to give someone air. Not Wanwan, Ling will kill me. I kissed Ling before, so I won't be violating anything new.
I bent down and placed my lips on Ling's, blowing a mouthful of air so forcefully I think I might have blasted his internal organs. Whoops.
Just as I thought all hope was lost, I saw Ling opening his eyes and turning around to hack out his saliva on the floor.
"What the heck Baxia, what did you eat?" He asked furiously.
"Hey, I saved you alright?" I defended myself.
"Yeah, and you crushed us," he replied.
I'm out of arguments.
"Yeah, alright, alright. Now are you going to save your girlfriend or not?" I teased, in a serious way. (A/N: I'm not sure if that even is possible.) "She's not my girlfriend! She's just– never mind!" He tried, oh yes he tried.
Now the good stuff is gonna happen.
Ling did what I did, just in a more delicate manner. Like how he did it when he tried to wake Wanwan up from her enchanted sleep.
Unlike how Ling reacted when I saved him, Wanwan sat up and hugged him.
I didn't even get a hug. ;-;
Okay, now that we have saved each other already, time to figure out where we are. Just as I got up to wander around the dark, gloomy place which has nothing but stones, boulders and pebbles, the ground started to tremble. Upon feeling this, Wanwan and Ling immediately got up and ran far far away from me.
The weird pebbly platform started to rise up to where we fell down from, so I guess we have a way out without actually thinking about how to get out. One thing, if we don't fit through the hole we fell through, we would have to use our heads to drive the flooring above us out of the way. I'm pretty sure Ling and Wanwan thought about that too, so they quickly ran back to the spot where light shone. Though for some weird reason, I didn't move. Maybe I was daydreaming? I don't know.
At first, the platform slowly ascended. Just as it got nearer to the top, it started to speed up.
Crash!
My head and body just smashed right through the 'barrier', forming yet another hole. No one cares though, cause not long after, the rest of the whole damn platform will come smashing through the rest of the floor.
Wanwan and Ling were still hugging each other tightly, while I looked like a half-awake person who came home from work.
Once everything was up, we ran out of the freakish place to find Zilong and Chang'e. You know, tell them that a weird random platform weirdly and randomly started to elevate. Though no signs of whatever Yu Zhong or Luo Yi were around, so I'm not sure why anything would do that.
"Zilong! Platform! Rising! Weird! Strange! Blegh!" I blurted, after running for ten seconds from there to here.
"What's the matter?" He asked.
Seriously? I just explained. I was still wheezing like a something? Just panting a lot, so I couldn't talk. All of a sudden, the ground gave another threatening tremble. Uh-oh.
