Chapter 25

I'd better do this now or I'll have no time later :z

Wanwan's POV

"Where are we?" I asked.

"The place where we're supposed to be," Publish Save Preview replied. 

We arrived at a dimly-lit alleyway, which looked like it was screaming, "DON'T YOU DARE TRAVERSE FURTHER INTO THIS ALLEY, OR YOU SHALL SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES!" 

But actually, it was not, for alleyways can't scream.

Publish Save Preview didn't give a damn about the narrow passageway or the piled up junk around the place, but that's not all, he didn't even care when he saw blood on the brick walls and floor. The place reeked of decomposing matter and dried up blood, and even though it was in the middle of the afternoon already, little to no light could be seen here. 

We came to a stop when we saw a big guy with the face of a hamburger blocking the entrance of some random entrance. 

"Hey! Tinkle Bells!" Publish Save Preview waved at that guy while saying, like he knows him. 

"What? Who's Tinkle Bells?" He asked.

Publish Save Preview lead closer to him and whispered something into his ear.

"Ohhhhhh. Hi! Come in!" The guy who I now know as Tinkle Bells moved out of the way and let us in. 

The place was filled with smoke from cigarettes, drunk people, people who wear black singlets with a random skull printed on it and have a body full of tattoos, and their armpits hair are filled with bits of dirt. They also have piercings in their nose, ears, mouth, and maybe head, that's probably why their sense of fashion is like that. 

Publish Save Preview dragged me through the crowd and to a door which had a sign that stated "Authorise Personnel only", accompanied with a circle with a diagonal line inside it. Publish Save Preview entered the room, dragging the helpless me behind him. As he continued walking and dragging me along, I followed him absentmindedly. 

We approached a flight of stairs, and while we climbed them up, I concluded a few reasons why he would have entered the room. It was either he saw the sign and read it wrongly, didn't know how to read or completely ignored it, or he just knows what he's doing. 

FOR RANDOMLY ENTERING THIS KIND OF GODFORSAKEN PLACE IS A LIFE-THREATENING DECISION.

We approached another door, and without knocking, we went in, just to find Ling and two other ladies in the room. 

Wha–

Ling's POV

Nat and I were sitting on one side of the couch, huddled up together watching "Train to Bushan", along with Fanny, sitting on the other end of the couch, hugging a pillow with the remote control in her hand. One thing, who watches a horror movie in the middle of the day? Eh, I guess it doesn't matter when the place you are in is always dark.

Anyways.

Since you rarely get to picture us out of our battle suits, I'll tell you what we're wearing now. 

Basically I was in a white T-shirt, with the same black bird that was printed on my jacket printed on the front of this shirt. I also wore ankle-length jeans to accompany the shirt. 

Nat wore a grey crop-top, and wore a short jeans which had the ends frayed. 

Fanny just wore a random jumpsuit she found in her great grandmother's closet or whatever, at least it looks like it came from there. 

We were so engrossed in the horror movie that we didn't notice people entering the room. 

That was, until someone started to gag Nat. 

I immediately got up to see a guy in short brown hair using a towel to choke my girlfriend. (Chang'e's POV: I watched from above, regurgitating my breakfast, lunch, and yesterdays dinner onto my poor bunny.) 

I jumped off the couch and picked up my sword, wanting to stab that random guy in the chest. 

Before I did that, Nat already escaped by becoming invisible. 

Just as I was about to kill that guy who attempted to murder Nat (as unsuccessful as that was), a girl jumped in front of him. 

"Ling! Ling! Snap out of it!" She cried. 

This voice, sounds so familiar.

Those eyes, it's like we've met.

Yet, who is she?
