3rd Person's POV
Along the way to Yu Zhong's headquarters, Zilong briefed everyone on what they had to do. Meanwhile, Yu Zhong also was going through the plan, not knowing Zilong had two more people to assist him.
Upon Zilong's arrival, the sky turned a lighter shade of purple, which alerted Yu Zhong. Wanwan and Ling laid in ambush while Yu Zhong and Luo Yi were the 'welcoming committee'. Zilong knows that having Miya and Alucard to fight would not be ideal, as he needs them to free Wanwan and Ling from the Shard of Purple first. He got the two of them to take the back route, to avoid Luo Yi and the Yu Zhong. Even though he called him 'The Purple Guy' when giving out his instructions, they got the hint. Chang'e and Baxia hid behind a nearby bush, waiting to come out when Zilong gives the signal.
Zilong's POV
Even though I am the Child of the Dragon, doesn't mean I don't fear. When I saw that big, burly, purple man, I knew exactly who he was– Yu Zhong, the Black Dragon. Beside him was a not-so-burly woman, figuring out immediately from her purple hair that she had to be Luo Yi.
"Betrayer!" I hollered at the top of my lungs, the word reverberating through the whole headquarters as I pointed my finger accusingly at her. She just walked up to me smugly and said, "Oops, sorry, my bad." My blood boiled. Even though I was slightly trembling with fear earlier, the trembling now was fueled by anger. I used my first skill on her flipping her back, into the bush where Baxia and Chang'e was. I left them to take care of her for me. I then went up to Yu Zhong. His face as black as ever, but his eyes not meeting mine. He was looking at that bush.
Miya's POV
I stayed for a moment to watch the fight, but moved on when Alucard nudged me on. Knowing I had come for a reason, and had to return safely, I had to act. Act as fast as lightning and as swift as the wind. As a squishy marksman, a single error would lead to a disaster. All of a sudden, a yellow thing shot out at me. Soon after getting hit by one of those yellow things which were flying back into a bush, a red ring formed around my waist. I used my hands to swipe it away, but they just went right through. Realising my targets were in that bush, I concealed and ran over, using my CC skill to stun the both of them. Not long after, Alucard blinked onto them. They were immobilised, so we dragged them out of the bush and disarmed them, also aware that Wanwan would free herself using her second skill. We quickly used a piece of rope to tie them up. "It should happen about now," I whispered in distress when I realised nothing was happening. Alucard comforted me by patting my shoulder, saying, "Just give them some time."
So we did.
I went up and checked their heart rates. Same. "Alu, the spell will be wearing off soon, I'm not sure if they'll actually like each other," I muttered. He just looked at me and replied gently, "We've tried our best."
Wanwan's POV
I used my second skill, too late. I was already tied up. I felt my heart beat at an abnormal rate when I turned my head and looked at Ling, who was tied up with me. I wanted to untie myself, I did not want to be bound by a rope. When I tried to shoot my sleeve darts through the rope, I found out nothing was there! I turned my head to look at Ling, no swords! All of a sudden, a woman in pink blew something in my face, and everything turned blank.
Poof.
The blankness was replaced with a place. A place with grey rocks and a cliff, a road leading to something so bright, so shiny, so–purple. Streams of purple, metallic liquid flowed out from the purple thing. Then someone showed up. Someone in blue. Someone who would look fabulous in a cute skirt. That someone who never smiles.
HOLD UP. He's carrying a dustpan and a broom instead of his usual sword. He walked over to the purple thing and swept it up before vanishing into thin air. Then everything vanished.
Like poof.
I opened my eyes to see that I was back to my normal, orange self and that I was untied. I jumped up touching my body to make sure this was real, as I have encountered weird dreams one too many times. I looked at Ling, still asleep. I plopped back down beside him and waited.
Ling's POV
I was stuck, unable to move. Unlike Wanwan, I do not have a skill to break free from CC. I managed to catch a glimpse of Wanwan trying to free us, and could do no more. All of a sudden, something flew into my face and I blanked out.
The white backdrop turned to a gray terrain with a purple sky. There was a pile of glowing purple dust in the middle. Then I saw Wanwan. With a vacuum cleaner. (A/N: In case you are wondering, "How do you use a vacuum cleaner without electricity?" Wanwan is using the Dyson cordless vacuum, she charged it before bringing it. Not advertising Dyson.) Little streams of purple, vile liquid flowed out from the dust. Wanwan walked over, switched on the vacuum cleaner, and vacuumed up all the purple dust. The terrain poofed with Wanwan. I have no idea why, a sudden surge of something urged me to look for her. I tried. I ran around the white place, no idea if I'm running somewhere or just staying at a single spot. Then she appeared. She opened a door that magically appeared out of nowhere. Behind the door revealed light. I immediately felt a sense of déjà vu. I walked through the door with Wanwan...
I opened my eyes to find myself leaning against Wanwan, I got up immediately, slightly flustered. My heart was beating furiously against my chest. I don't understand...Why do I feel like this?
