Ling's POV
"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?!?" I hollered at the top of my lungs. I rarely get chances like this to do so so why not? Anyways, I lifted up my arms to see if there was any difference.
Indeed there was.
There are now like how they used to look like back at the living realm. Great, now I'm opaque again. I wandered around the field, wondering if I was supposed to do something to bring me to the nicer part of this realm.
NO INSTRUCTIONS WERE GIVEN.
So uh, what do I do?
I walked.
And walked.
And walked.
Hoping something would save me from this hellish place.
So I just kept walking. Until I came across a lake. I looked in, expecting to see my reflection. But I guess, here you have to expect the unexpected. Instead of seeing my awful face, I saw the battlefield I died in, Wanwan still there, crying over my dead body. I stuck my hand into the water, hoping to tell her, I was alright. When I did though, the water just rippled and her image followed suit. I looked around once more, thinking of whether or not I should jump in. At least, that was what my instincts told me. And were my instincts ever wrong? Never. So I did.
And I found myself in a beautiful place.
Where loads of dead people roamed the streets, and houses of all shapes and sizes could be found. I walked and walked and walked some more. I walked until my feet started to tell me where to go. Which was very interesting, since I could fly. My feet started to drag me towards a house, with my name engraved on a bronze plate on the gate. I pushed open the gate gently, in case anyone were to pop out and surprise me.
No one. Intriguing. I walked into the house furtively, for I do not like to be in new places. But when I stepped into the house, it was exactly how I wanted my dream house to be like.
Which, formed more questions in my head.
Now the ton of questions yet to be answered in my head have all been answered after taking a look at a piece of paper placed on the table near the entrance.
It stated that you can read minds after passing the FAT People and that you will turn opaque if you are given a slot to be reincarnated in the next month. And that if you look into someone's eye, you can read their mind. You can protect yourself by closing your eyes, but risk bumping into things in ghost form. At the back of the sheet of paper was a map that showed the direction to the Reincarnation Hub. So in ten days time, I'm supposed to go there. For now though, I'll sit back and relax in my home, with no worries or cares about life or death.
I shall describe my house if you are curious to know. The ceiling was about four meters above the ground, and a chandelier hung above. The walls were painted pure white, and the tiles on the ground were made of genuine marble. The bedroom had a carpeted floor, and a bed fit for a king, and a queen, but the queen isn't here yet so eh. Also, there was a room, for all the tiring training which may or may not assist me now, but that depends. No one could disturb me in my haven, whether I'm training, or relaxing, doesn't matter. Anyways, time for me to sit back on my hammock and sip on some coconut milk, see ya later.
