Hehe, back to main story before I continue with the other special chapters.
(I kind of forgot where I stopped at.)
And another notice.
If we're lucky, I will update tomorrow, if we're unlucky, then I can't, so uh, sorry in advance!
Zilong's POV
"You expect us to destroy our mortal spirit?!?"
"Yes, I can take your primordial spirit to the next era, where your primordial spirit will become a mortal one. Seriously brother, how do you not know that?" Chang'e asked.
Well, that's seriously complicated.
"Okay, if you know what you're doing, you do it," I told her.
"Okie dokie, now close your eyes while I disintegrate you guys into ashes. I'll drop you guys off at the rooftop of Ling's house and you guys hang on tight there, I don't want any of your ashes to be blown away. After that, I'll just dress up a little, and bon voyage. Now, let me do me mahjeek (A/N: Magic, just in a french accent)"
Oh heck no.
I took a deep breath in and shut my eyes as tightly as possible.
Here goes nothing.
Wanwan's POV
Finally, after a long and tiring journey, I'm home.
"Dad! Mum! I'm home!" I called, after somehow managing to find the keys in my wallet.
I walked in, to find a table spread with food I haven't eaten in ages.
Both my parents sat behind it, smiling happily, yet this smile seemed to be mixed with something else, like starch being put into fishballs. Except, let's just say I didn't know what was put into the fishballs apart from fish.
I dumped my luggage next to the floor and went to wash my hands before sitting down at the table.
"Wanwan! Welcome home! So, how was school?" My father asked.
"Fine, fine," I replied, while grabbing a bowl of rice and using my chopsticks to pick up a piece of broccoli. "Stop talking about me, how was life? Anything new?" I asked, my mouth already stuffed with rice.
"Well, uh, I don't think it would be a good idea to tell you or anything, but uh-" My mother started to say, until my father placed his hand on hers and shook his head.
I hope they remember I'm watching them.
"Well, if you guys don't want to say it, it's fine, but just know that I'm fifteen already, you can share your burdens with me," I swallowed my saliva and food clump down, before saying, just to break the awkward silence.
"Sorry Wanwan, but we don't want to burden you now, nor ever, but you will find out the truth soon," my father reassured.
Uh, okay.
For the rest of that evening, the house was filled with silence. That was, until I went to do the dishes and shower. That was it.
That night, that conversation we had during dinner kept me awake for a very very very long time. Now that's three verys so you know how long the time I was kept awake was. I was kept awake, by all the possibilities what the secret they were hiding could be.
It could be about some financial issues, it could be health issues, it could be security issues, and those come in many many forms.
GAH I WISH I KNEW!
3rd Person's POV
Meanwhile, while everyone was sleeping, Chang'e arrived on the roof of Ling's home. She pulled two small cloth bags of ashes and put it on the roof.
She hopped off her moon and pulled some carrots out of it, before stuffing it into the bags of ashes.
"Go eat it, bunny," she said.
Her bunny did as it was told, and ate up both bags containing carrots and Baxia and Zilong's primordial spirit in the form of ashes inside.
Chang'e then chanted some words that would screw your tongue without ample practice, and sat back onto her moon, and waited.
