Sorry for late update.

Sorry I didn't make this clear, Ling time travelled 199 mortal years and 9 mortal months.

Zilong's POV

"Ughh, where am I?" I asked, the moment I opened my eyes I saw a bright, cheery place full of butterflies and grass. Baxia was sitting in a corner, curled up into a ball. Chang'e was beside me. "You're where you were before. Just that Wanwan has destroyed the Reverse Scale and now the darkness has been eradicated from this place. Oh, and in case you didn't know, Wanwan and Ling are missing," she replied.

"What? What do you mean by they are missing?" I asked, alarmed by her words. "Ouch!" I screamed, my head giving a sudden throb. I lifted my hand up to touch my head, and found out it was bleeding. Chang'e hopped off her moon and plucked some weeds from the ground, before stuffing it onto my wound, the sudden pain causing me to shriek higher than Ling's spirit animal could. She then dug out some soil from the ground and stuffed it on top of the grass, using the blood to stick it there. It would be a miracle if I don't die of a deadly infection.

I got up onto my feet, looking at the bloody mess I made on the boulder my head was smashed onto. The blue glowing thingy also disappeared, making me a little bit weary of what Chang'e said. Anyways, I dragged Chang'e by the arm, while walking towards Baxia. I made Chang'e stand at one side with her moon positioned just where I wanted it to be, before pushing Chang'e away from her moon. I used my second skill and flipped him over, slamming his butt onto Chang'e's moon.

"OWWWWW!" He howled, clutching his butt tightly, forgetting about the pain in his abs. Now it's a pain in his ass. Chang'e walked over to her crescent moon, eyeballing me with that look of disgust. I gestured for everyone to follow me to look for the two missing people.

But, it's the both of them who's missing. And together, to make things better.

If I'm not wrong, Ling landed on another rock, no very far from where I did. I walked up to the second nearest stone after the one I fell on and almost died of shock.

They were both dead.

On the floor.

Holding hands.

Bloody, bloody scene.

I turned around, hoping to push Baxia and Chang'e away before they see what had happened to the both of them. Even though Baxia is very old, he is more delicate than Chang'e is. Maybe it's due to the possibility that her soul is at least two hundred years old.

But too late, they saw it.

That bloody, gruesome scene of two dead people. Coated in blood. Especially Ling, jeez it was like someone puked blood onto him or something. And Wanwan, oh god, blood was dripping from her mouth.

Baxia screamed at a very high pitch, and very loudly, which can rupture your eardrums if you were unlucky enough to be standing beside him when he did that. Chang'e stared at them. She just stared at them. Before gliding away on her moon like nothing happened.

Who would have expected that?

And how come I don't seem to have any reaction whatsoever?

Chang'e glided her way towards Baxia and stopped beside the wailing turtle, before she started to howl like him too.

My poor, poor eardrums.

I wonder how their afterlife is like.

I slumped down beside the both of them and sighed while shaking my head.

Now I have to waste money to make funeral arrangements.

I plucked some weed from the ground and stuffed it into my ears, to protect them from further damage, almost entirely forgetting about the wound on my head, until I reminded myself about it.

I left Chang'e and Baxia to wail there, while I went to find someone to carry their corpses away and bury them in the cemetery. In case I can't find my way back here, I'll just try to locate two howling humans.
