I just woke up.

3rd Person's POV

Now, I'm sure some of you are wondering, how does time work in these realms? Let's say they are two different dimensions, and the time in the Dead Realm moves a lot faster than the time in the Living Realm, also known as the Mortal Realm. Now that it should be clearer now, let's get back to the story.

Ling's POV

Whoa.

This place.

IS EXACTLY THE SAME AS BEFORE.

Did I really time travel?

"LING! You'd better get going, or the reincarnation slot will lapse. Even if you are one second late! Yes yes, so you really must get going. Now, follow me," the petite guy from earlier dragged me by the hand, forcing me to bend down and run at the same time.

So, we followed a shiny trail which led us to this cave.

On top of the cave, was a shiny, glittery, blue sign which stated 'Reincarnation Hub'. The petite little guy shoved me into the cave and gestured for me to follow the trail.

And so I did.

I followed it and followed it for what seemed like forever, before I came across a little shop. Or something. I knew I had to go into it. Oh yes, I shall describe the cave. It's quite beautiful, actually. The dark cave was illuminated with soft, glowing blue fairy lights (how do I know that?), and some pink vines were hanging from the walls like the fairy lights. The whole cave had a subtle coating of glitter, making it look even nicer. Every now and then, it would reflect some of the blue light, shining like a blue star. Now, back to the little shop.

On the door of the shop was a sign that stated 'memory eraser'.

I walked in after knocking the door. I could tell what I had to do here– erase my memory.

Of everything and anything that happened in my past life and in this Realm.

I expected to see some cauldron of sorts and lots of potions. Or a machine that you would have to stand inside and wait for stuff to happen.

But noooo.

It was a big fat eraser.

Yes, an eraser.

I guess I have to take the signs more literally next time.

"Hello, Ling, I see you are here for your reincarnation, aren't you? Now, before this, you must have your memory erased. If you would just step up onto this platform and conk your head on this memory eraser," an old lady greeted me the moment I pushed open the door, which caused the little bell to ring.

I did as I was told.

I conked my head on a big, fat eraser.

Now that's just stupid.

"Now, you will have your memories intact for five more minutes. Before these five minutes run out, exit from the back door over there and follow the path until you come to a tunnel. Further instructions will be given there. Now goodbye little one! I wish you a pleasant next life!" The old lady waved me goodbye. Now that was fast. Faster than expected. All my memories of Wanwan would be gone. That's going to be hard to let go of. But what choice do I have. After being a dumbass and conking your head on an oversized eraser, what else would you expect.

I don't think it'll be that hard considering the fact I've already done it.

All of those memories flashed through my mind as I made my way to the tunnel. Once I did, a new petite little guy popped in front of me (not pooped) and gave me a list.

"This list states everything and anything that you should be aware of and what could go wrong. Do take note, if you don't follow these rules, I'm afraid you'll have an unsuccessful reincarnation. So, do follow them strictly," he blabbered. Okay.

The list was quite long.

So, I didn't read it yet.
