A/N: Have I screwed up the age gap? Yes I have. But Idrc.

3rd Person's POV

And just like that, our two protagonists grew up. Wanwan was sent overseas for training when she was ten. Ling, on the other hand stayed in his hometown, which didn't look like those rural kinds of hometowns at all, almost completely forgetting about Wanwan as he went into the teenage phase of his life.

Ling's POV

"Natalia! Quick! Hide!" Fanny yell-whispered. Natalia heard her and went into stealth mode and ran, while Fanny used her cables to fly away. Me? I was watching everything from above, watching as the two girls disappeared into thin air within a matter of seconds.

The blaring of sirens could be heard, I guess someone found the dead body. Ah well.

I left the spot I was on the top of the building and flew off to another nearby one, swiftly escaping the police who had yet to arrive. I guess that counts as an escape. I continued to glide from wall to wall, to find Natalia and Fanny at our designated spot.

"So, now we have to go find boss?" I asked, being the newcomer.

"What do you think, birdbrain?" Fanny replied.

Should I describe our appearances? I think I should. (I don't care about your opinions anyway)

Let's start off with the most "gentle" one of them all, Fanny. Her bubblegum pink hair was tied into a ponytail, which was topped off with a black and dark pink cap. She wore a magenta sleeveless crop top which had two crosses at those weird spot that I'd rather not mention. Over that was a pink, puffy-sleeved jacket which had lots of fluff around the neck area. For the bottom half of her outfit, she wore jeans which were ripped at the knee and pink, ultra-funky sneakers which are near impossible to describe. Here weapons and accessories included a purple choker, a hook that she could shoot out from a launcher located at her waist (the hook looked like the one you can find on cranes, just smaller), and a pink baseball bat which had the word girl embellished in white on it. But do you think the most "gentle" girl on Earth would leave her baseball bat at that? If you did, then I must wonder, what the hell are you thinking. Of course she would add a ring of golden spikes around the end of the baseball bat.

Okay, now she's done. We shall move on to the one I have been in love with since I went to secondary school. Don't tell her I told you that. Anyways, I'll just tell you about her appearance, and you can judge me later. (A/N: Oh boy here we go) She had shoulder-length hair which was dyed white, and slightly pink at the edges. Like Fanny, she wore a black and dark pink cap and a sleeveless crop top, except that hers was camouflage. Over that was a very very dark purple jacket which had a strip of reflector on the sleeves. Her gas mask was black and had neon green lighting, just like her claws. Black, tight shorts accompanied with a belt was what she wore at the waist to butt area. Around her right knee was a black cloth or something. Black socks, white shoes and pink shoelaces for her feet. Oh yes, and did I mention the weird glitching her claws would do every now and then? Yeah, that's weird.

Now onto me, the one person who would probably attract the most attention in this kind of place. Okay, so basically, a white singlet which had green stripes and a yellow, shiny hoodie which had a green layer underneath and a huge black bird on a huge white circle at the back. Lots of little iron-on stickers on the front. I wore long black pants with a red saggy belt which had a freakish buckle along with a I don't know what the heck that is on the side. I wore gloves that let your fingers stick out and had that sword. The one from my childhood. Multi-coloured sneakers for me. I had black hair dyed purple at the tips. Okay that's it now I need to follow them back to the boss or who knows what will happen.
