Chapter 27

Hello again, I'm just going to push through to deliver you this chapter on time so uh, it might be crappy.

Now, let me say more here so the word count can be filled up.

Saying stuff.

Saying more stuff.

Okay, I guess I've said enough. I'll get back to the story.

Oh by the way, anyone else saving up gingerbread to get the Snowy Owl in Adopt Me? Or the Winter Guardian set in Royale High? No? Or is it just me? (Basically that's what I mostly spend my time on now.) I'd better cut the crap.

Ling's POV

I brought Nat to the nearby ice cream parlour to buy a Neapolitan sundae with a cherry on top, and sat there to savour it together.

The bright sunlight shone outside, something I haven't seen in days.  Even though the outdoor dining looked perfectly fine with those white metal chairs and tables underneath a white and pink striped shelter. Inside, the floor was checkered, and made of pink and white tiles. The display counter made of glass had all kinds of ice cream in tubs inside, and behind it was a waiter in a white shirt, pink apron and a matching cap with the parlour's logo printed onto it.

I have a weird habit of describing the place but eh, no one will blame you.

We each picked up a pink plastic spoon and scooped up the ice cream before feeding it to each other. Ah, how weird a feeling to be fed by your girlfriend. Definitely not my thing, but if it's Nat's, then I'll play along.

Meanwhile, I had a bad feeling someone was stalking us.

I didn't know who, or why, or if there even was someone, but that feeling just–

It's unfathomable. (A/N: I like using the word unfathomable.)

I think I should stop thinking so much and just enjoy this odd, somewhat romantic moment. And now I'm thinking I should stop. And now I'm thinking that I was thinking that I thought I should stop. And now I'm thinking of when I was thinking when I was thinking of the thought to stop thinking.

OKAY I'LL JUST STOP THAT HERE, GOOD DAY, THOUGHTS.

Anyways, I have no idea how Nat managed to recover from that incident earlier. I shan't ask, for that might remind her of it and there would be two possible outcomes.

One, she gets all frightened and terrified again.

Two, she goes to hunt that guy down.

Okay, now you people get out of my brain, I think it'll probably freeze soon, Nat has a huge spoonful of ice cream and it's coming right for me.

Uh oh.

Wanwan's POV

I watched alone, behind the pillar that provided me shade from the sun, provided me support for my wobbly legs, provided me protection from the happy couple sitting there, which protected my heart, too.

I must say, this pillar would make a better boyfriend than Ling would, so why am I supposed to woo him?

No good reason, right? He's already happy with that girl Natalia.

Just then, my throat started to sting (A/N: Not sing.) and my vision started to become a blur.

But, why?

I think I'll just spend my time courting this pillar if he doesn't have a girlfriend, if he's even a boy. If you're a girl, then you deserve a great boyfriend.

Anyways. I don't know how to break into anything, needless to say someone else's heart.

Would someone help me?

"Hello!" A little girl on a waffle coated in chocolate came over and said.

"Oh, hello little girl, what's the matter?" I asked.

"I heard you need help with your romance, so I'm here to assist you!" She replied in a jolly manner.

How odd, how would she know?

And, how is she going to help?

"I know you're wondering, how am I going to help you. I'll tell you," she said, before using her tiny little hand to gesture for me to come closer so she could say something.

She whispered something into my ear before patting my back, a signal for me to spring back to my original, still short, height.

Oh, so that's how I do it?
