Ling's POV

Okay, I think I should read it now.

"Dear Ling, (A/N: Deerling)

Here are things that may go wrong during the process of reincarnation.

The mother may have a miscarriage. The Tunnel of Reincarnation may break down. You might lose your way. Your primordial spirit may not be strong enough (highly likely not). The parents may abort the baby whom you will be reincarnating as. And many more things that may or may not happen but we don't know of yet.

Now, here are the things you must do before your memory is wiped out.

You must get through the tunnel. You must close your eyes and flap your arms wildly (the reason to do this is unclear, but most of those who have done it had a successful reincarnation). You must eat the Strengthening Berry to strengthen your primordial spirit.

If anything goes wrong, you are highly advised to do the following, even though you probably won't remember it.

If your primordial spirit is too weak (which should not happen after you eat the Strengthening Berry), you will disintegrate into ashes, and no one can help you with that. If the mother suffers a miscarriage or wants to abort the baby, immediately leave the baby and come back through the emergency tube also known as the mother's umbilical cord. This should be your instincts so even if you don't remember you can still come back safely. If you don't make it to the end of the tunnel before your memory is wiped out, sit in the middle and cry, someone will find you. I'm sure you won't remember that but by then your mindset would be one of a baby's, so you probably would do that.

Now, with these tips that we have provided, we wish you a safe reincarnation and a happy next life!

Yours faithfully,

The FAT People," I read it out. God that was long. I shoved the piece of paper in my pocket and walked into the tunnel, taking in deep breaths as I go. Around halfway through? I can't really see, it's dimly-lit. I saw a table with a bowl of berries. Must be those Strengthening Berries the letter was talking about. I picked one up and popped it into my mouth, thinking of whether or not I should chew it or just swallow it whole, the two options now wrestling in my head. I chewed it, bracing myself for an awkward, unfathomable taste.

Nothing. Just tasted like a grape.

After that, I continued to walk at a speedy speed, in case the time runs out. I don't know how much time has passed or what would happen when I reach, but who cares now?

After some dashing, I finally arrived at the end of the tunnel. How did I know? There was a sign that said so. It also stated that I have to stand on the planks on the ground to activate. They didn't say what it would activate, but I will.

I stood on the planks and closed my eyes, flailing my arms wildly, like a human trying to take flight without the help of wings. I would've flown away if it weren't for the fact that my feet were now glued to the planks.

I then felt it sink into the ground.

Die.

"AHHHHHHHH!!!!" I hollered as I fell into the endless pit or so. I didn't dare open my eyes, and my arms were still flailing wildly.

I fell into a pit of blood or something of sorts.

Then everything went blank.
