Sorry I didn't update yesterday. I'm very very lazy these few days, for I'm pretty much addicted to video games (Not ml, I can't play that currently) and also TV shows. So well uh, hope this statement helps me fill up the word count. :p
Ling's POV
I shook my head slightly, but it was too late, the guy I wanted to stab ran off, to next to the cabinets. That girl who stood in front of me continued to stand there, unaware that I have lowered my sword.
I flicked my wrist and turned around to go find Nat, who was probably traumatised by that incident. No one has actually dared lay weapon on her, less attempt to murder her with a tablecloth.
Ah well.
While I tried to look for her, all the bits and pieces of thoughts of that girl filled up my mind.
"Ling! Ling!" She said in a cute babyish voice.
"Ling! Ling! Snap out of it!" She said.
The baby was in a pink romper, with adorable large topaz eyes that would be near impossible to miss.
I was crossing the road with Nat and made eye contact with those large, topaz eyes.
Just then, something rang a bell, and a few letters came into my brain.
What could her name be? I know I've met her...
Naomi? No that can't possibly be it.
Wendy? Nope, definitely not that either.
Wang Yaxin? How did I even get that name?
Wa...n...wha?
Just as I was about to get something I think, keyword, think, would be right, I found Nat, crying in a corner of the dark alleyway.
"Go away!" She cried, swinging her arm in front of her curled-up body.
"Oh, Nat, it's fine, he can't possibly hurt you. I promise I won't let him lay a finger on you, ever," I tried to console her.
"It's no use! The damage has been done! Now leave me alone!" She yelled.
"I shall take you out for some ice cream later, okay?" I resorted to the way you coax babies into doing what you would want them to.
She continued to watch her feet as she stretched out her arm.
Wanwan's POV
What the heck is wrong with Ling? Why would he want to stab Publish Save Preview for no good reason at all? He could just shove him away.
Something definitely is wrong.
Just then, Ling dragged in the girl Publish Save Preview tried to strangle earlier on.
But seriously, even though Ling was in the wrong to want to stab someone, Publish Save Preview shouldn't have tried to strangle her.
The question is, why?
"I'll settle this with you later," Ling walked up to Publish Save Preview with gritted teeth and an expression so fierce that if I were Publish Save Preview, I would have withered there and then. After that, he dragged that poor girl who was being strangled by Publish Save Preview out the door.
My heart sank a little when I saw what Ling did to the girl.
But why?
"Come, Wanwan, we have to follow them. Well, not we, you. You have to find your way into his heart, kick Natalia out, and lock it tight. While you, I'm sure he has found his way already. Now go! Jealousy will make your feelings even deeper once you manage to get him. Toodles!" Publish Save Preview blabbered, before giving me a nice, forceful shove which pushed me down the stairs and all the way out onto the alley. Somehow, Tinkle Bells wasn't there.
My kitty sense dragged me to the nearby ice cream shop, where I watched as Ling shared a sundae with the girl who probably was the Natalia I was supposed to kick out.
I hid behind a pillar and continued to gaze at Ling longingly, which, after I came to my senses, made me feel very very weird.
