"Hi I'm Aurora" she spoke into the mike with a welcoming smile on her face "I hope you're all having an amazing night, and I hope you're with the people you love tonight. Speaking of, I've got a song about that. Hit it" she pointed back at the band behind her.

Laura smiled.

The girl had quite the sweet voice and warm presence, and she looked gorgeous tonight. A rather beautiful golden floor length gown went perfectly with her blonde short hair cut into a bob - all except two pieces- her signature look.

She wasn't familiar with her- similar to the other artists she'd been hearing from that night, but there was a lot of new talent she was excited to be discovering.

The lights turned low, placing a bright spotlight on her as she sung.

Her voice was soft and welcoming. Her body language delicate and sweet.

Ross payed attention to the lyrics- it was so well-written. Seemed so pure and clean. Her performance was breathtaking already.

Laura pressed her lips as she looked down at her hands. Her words were pretty heavy. It was hitting something in her.

She didn't like it.

"Only for love" her smile was gorgeous.

"I can't imagine how it is
To be forbidden from loving (ah, ah)"

Laura looked up at that- her feelings welled up in her chest as if she was going to burst any second.

Stop. Don't you dare cry over him again.

Ross turned his head to stare at Laura.

Even with the lights so low- he could see her glossy eyes as she started at the stage.

Was anything wrong?

Her lip trembled slightly- she was letting her emotions get the best of her. She knew it yet she couldn't control it.

Because she did. She loved him.

Just like that tears started spilling, and she reached out for tissues immediately, wiping them off carefully and silent.

This was no good. She was going to ruin her make up.
