story 63

Kie's POV:

I came home from boarding school after graduation. I was home for three months before I left for college. I was so excited to see my friends again. I've missed them so much and I hated boarding school.

I got home and Sarah was waiting for me. She ran to me and hugged me.

"I've missed you so much" She said

"I've missed you too" I said as we stayed hugging

I was now eighteen and on the way home my parents told me they weren't going to stop me from hanging out with the pogues. I didn't care either way because I was going to. Sarah and I headed to the chateau and we walked inside whereJohn B and Pope were waiting there.

Pope was the first to hug me and then John B. I realized that JJ wasn't here and they must have seen me looking and John B said "I'm sorry, he isn't here"

"He's with his girlfriend" Pope said and both John B and Sarah shot him death glares

"He has a girlfriend?" I asked shocked as JJ wasn't the dating type. At least that's what he said. He only did one-night stands, hook-ups, whatever you want to call it

"Yeah, her name is Sophie. She just moved here a few months ago. She's nice" Pope said and again earned a look from Sarah

We had a fire, drank some beers, and hung out just like old times. I wished JJ was here. I missed him. I spent the night at the chateau and the next morning, we got up and we were going to surf. We were on the beach, Sarah was going to tan since she didn't surf much. John B and I hit the waves and I noticed JJ with a blonde girl. They were sitting on his surfboard making out.

"JJ" John B called from a distance and he got and saw me

The girl and him walked over as he drug his board in the water.

"Kie" He said to me

"Hey" was all I could get out

I just looked at him and he looked so happy. His eyes were still sparkling blue and his hair looked even blonder.

"Wann surf with us?" Pope asked

"I'm surfing with Soph today, but I'll catch you guys later" JJ said

"Come to the chateau tonight and bring Sophie with" I said and JJ accepted the offer

That night, we had a fire going and JJ and Sophie arrived on his bike. He never let me ride with him. He said it was too unsafe for two people. Liar. They walked over and grabbed a beer and Sophie started talking to me. She was really sweet and slightly annoying. I had a few beers and Sophie started talking about JJ.

She said something that really set me off. She was saying, "Yeah, I've really been encouraging JJ to go to college"

"Maybe you should let him make his own decisions, you know, let him do what's best for him" I said annoyed with her and it caused everyone to look at me

"I'm his girlfriend, thank you" She said so fake back

"You might be his girlfriend but you don't know shit about what's best for him" I said thinking back to everything that JJ has been through. Everything that I've helped him through.

"Kie, calm down" Pope said

"Whatever" I mumbled under my breath and took a big sip of my beer

"Bitch..." Sophie said

"What the fuck did you just call me?" I asked pissed off

"You heard me, bitch!" She said and I would have punched her if Sarah wouldn't have grabbed me and brought me in the chateau
