Pope's POV:

I watched as Kie held JJ in the small lifeboat. She was being so comforting. That was one thing I loved about Kie. She was always so caring and sweet when any of us boys needed. However, I always noticed she was different with JJ.

Kie was known for being overprotective with me and John B. Always telling us to be careful and giving us kisses on the cheek. She never did that with JJ. At first, I thought she was into John B. But she shot that down so fast.

Naturally, I assumed she was in love with me. As much as it hurt to find out she doesn't love me like that, it's for the best. I now realize she's in love with JJ. It's always been him.

He's so vulnerable with her and she knows exactly how to take care of him. I was jealous of the chemistry the two of them had.

We arrived on the island that JJ called Pougelandia. It was hard for me not to watch the two of them. I don't think they realized they are in love.

Over the next few days, the two were stuck to each other like glue. I snuck away with Kie one night and I said, "Hey, so I just wanted you to be the first to know that I'm into Cleo."

"Aww, Pope! That's great. She's perfect for you" Kie said smiling

I thought if I told her that I liked Cleo she would know I was over her and that it was okay with me if she liked JJ.

I looked at her and I just had to ask, "Do you love him?"

"Who?" She asked clueless which I knew she wasn't

"You know who... JJ"

She didn't say anything and she said, "Honestly, I think I do. It just started when he almost drowned"

"No, it started a long time ago. You just never noticed. He's loved you since he met you. You should go for it"

"Really? I don't want to ruin the friendship and besides JJ only does hookups"

"You won't ruin the friendship. He's never had a girlfriend before because he's in love with you. I think the hookups are just something he does to release his anger and pain. It's your choice, but I know he would never you"

"Thanks Pope. It means a lot"

"Let me know how it goes. Would you be mad in truth or date tonight if I played a little matchmaker?" I asked

She laughed and said, "Only if you let me do the same"

"Nothing crazy please"

"Promise"

That night at the fire, we were playing truth or dare. Kie dared me to kiss Cleo and I did and after that Cleo held my hand. Sweet!

I dared Kie to kiss JJ. JJ was surprised and he looked at Kie and she walked over and gave him a quick kiss on the lips. Shit. That wasn't the right thing to do. They needed their time alone to confess their feelings.

I ended the game a few turns later and Cleo and I left the fire and John B and Sarah caught on and left JJ and Kie alone.

I have no idea what happened that night but the next morning we found Kie asleep in his arms. Once everyone was up JJ came to talk to me and he told me that Kie confessed her love to him. He wanted to make sure I was cool with it.

"Of course, I was wrong to try and date her. I know you've liked her way longer"

"I'm going to ask her to be my girlfriend" He said nervously and I helped him plan it all out

The two of them were going on a romantic walk on the beach at sunset. I had set up a small picnic for them about a mile down the beach. I also built a new hut and covered the sand in flower pedals.

The next day, they came back holding hands and JJ kissed her in front of everyone. They were both so happy.

I was so excited that JJ and Kie were finally together. They were the cutest couple ever! Well, besides me and Cleo.
