Kie's POV:

JJ and I had a baby together. Our son was three years old. He was the cutest. When he was around two or so, JJ and I started arguing. It was never in front of our son, but it completely destroyed our relationship.

JJ was back living with his dad and I was in our small house with our son. I refused to let JJ see Liam anywhere but our house. I feared that JJ would bring Liam to his house with Luke there. I know JJ would never intentionally hurt our son or put him in danger. I just didn't trust that Luke would be gone for a bit, JJ would bring Liam over, and then Luke would come home and hurt Liam.

JJ just arrived and he walked inside.

"You can't just walk in here like you live here" I said

"Last time I checked my name is on this house just like yours is. Where is my son?"

"Your son, last time I checked he was our son" I bitched back at him

"He isn't here. He's with my mom. We need to talk"

"Ahh, that explains why you're acting like a such a bitch"

"But it doesn't explain why you're acting like an asshole" I smiled back at him

"Fuck you, KIE!" He said giving me the middle finger

"You aren't taking Liam to your dad's house. I won't allow it. You can see Liam here. You and Liam can spend the weekend here alone and I'll go to my parent's for the weekend. But there is no way in hell you are going anywhere with our son where Luke might be"

"Do you seriously think that I would ever put Liam in danger? I would never allow him to be anywhere near my father"

We continued screaming at each other for almost an hour. It was JJ's night with Liam and I said, "Wait here, I'm going to pick him up. I'll be back soon"

"Hell no, I'm going with you" He said following me out to my car

We argued the whole way there and once we arrived, we both went up to get our son. We walked inside and my mom gave JJ the death glare.

"Mommy! Daddy!" Liam said as he saw us

I picked him up and JJ grabbed his bag. I thanked my mom and we got in my car. Liam told us about grandma's house. JJ and I were happy and talked to our son. We got back home and I packed up my stuff and Liam asked, "Mommy leave?"

"Yeah, I'm going to go visit grandma for the weekend and you get to stay here with daddy!" I said smiling and Liam broke down in tears

"No, don't leave" He said and I picked him up

"Mommy has to go, but you and daddy are going to have so much together" I said being positive for him

"Come on, Liam, let's go play dinosaurs," JJ said handing him his favorite dinosaur

Liam threw it across the room and said, "I go with mommy"

JJ looked at how upset our son and JJ was sad because Liam didn't want to stay with JJ.

"Liam, I'm staying here tonight with you! Go get your dinosaurs and I'll come play with you in a minute"

"Otay" He said smiling as he ran into his room to get them

JJ was getting ready to leave when I walked over to the door and stopped him. I said quietly, "He's our son and he isn't used to the separation. Stay here with us tonight"

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, for Liam" I said

JJ and I went and played with our son and then I made dinner. We ate together as a family, JJ cleaned up dinner and did the dishes while I gave Liam a bath. JJ sat in his bed with him to read him a bedtime story. Liam was next to the wall and JJ was on the side with the bed rail.
