Kie's POV:

Tonight was my parents anniversary party. Luckily, Sarah was there so it would be okay. John B showed up to talk to Sarah and I figured that JJ would be here too. Sure enough, he was tucked down behind the fence hiding.

He was acting so weird and I basically just told him that I loved him and his whole brain literally couldn't process it. He told me that he was going with John B to save Big John and he'd see me at the break when he got back, he he came back.

I told Sarah what happened and she told me that her and John B broke up. We snuck away from the party and said, "How did we get here? Two kooks in love with two pogues from the cut on some crazy treasure hunt"

"We've lost everything" Sarah replied

I rested my head on her shoulder and said, "At least we have each other"

Pope and Cleo backed out of the hunt. Pope was focused on school and Cleo was busy helping his parents. John B and JJ were somewhere in South America and Sarah and I were back on Figure Eight.

The boys had been gone for almost a month now. Topper and Sarah had gotten back together and they were good together. I hate to admit it, but better than her and John B. I also started hanging out with Rafe. He had really changed and it just felt right.

I had fixed my relationship with my parents and everything was back to normal. Ward, Rose, Rafe, and Wheezy were all back living in the OBX at Tammy Hill. Sarah and I constantly wondered if the boys were okay. We still hung out with Cleo and Pope but we never really talked about John B or JJ.

It has been three months and we were at a Boneyard party. I was with Rafe and Sarah was with Topper. Then we saw them. John B and JJ were back.

Sarah looked at me as the two pogues approached us.

"Hey" Sarah said

"Looks like the two of you have managed just fine" JJ said seeing Rafe and Topper hanging out with us

"We should talk, alone" I said to both of them

"Come to the Chateau with us" John B said

Sarah and I decided to go with them. They drove the Twinkie here and we followed them in Sarah's car. The whole way we talked about what could happen.

We went inside and sat down and John B said, "So, I was wrong. My dad isn't the hero I thought he was. He cared more about the gold than me. He's off doing his own thing. We didn't find El Dorado"

"But it seems like the two of you were just fine without us. You went back to your kook ways" JJ added

"J, let's talk outside" I said bringing him outside

We stood outside as we heard John B and Sarah arguing inside. Our argument started by JJ saying, "Looks like you and Rafe are a happy couple"

"I'm not dating Rafe... But he is different now and he hasn't been awful to hang out with since you and John B just left us here"

"You chose not to come!"

"I just wanted to talk to you before we went on some rescue mission"

"I don't talk, okay? I hate talking. I don't react well to feelings and crap. It was all new territory and then you told me you loved me and I didn't know if you were serious or not. No one has ever told me they love me before and it just really caught me off guard especially because I'm a pogue from the cut. You know exactly where I come from and the things that I've done. I don't deserve you. I'm just dragging you down the wrong path....." JJ continued talking and he was spiraling
