《Arriving at the Lotus Flower》
When Ruby arrived at her ship, flying in her phoenix form, she headed straight to the crow's nest. There, the pirate returned to her human form.

As Ruby flew nearby, several pirates noticed a light in the sky, unaware that it was the phoenix's fire. But Johari was one of the few who saw the phoenix land on the crow's nest and revert to Ruby's human form.

When Ruby noticed she had been spotted by her first mate, she grabbed a rope hanging from the mast and swung down to the deck.

Johari: Captain! You're back!
Ruby: Aye aye. Here I am.
Anne: A little more than two days passed.
Ruby: And I told you that if I didn't come back by the third day, you could start worrying about me.
Jack: Apple Pie! (Runs to Ruby's side) Why didn't you say anything?!
Ruby: I told the girls.
Jack: I know you told them. They were the ones who said it when they came back. But you could have said something too.
Ruby: It was a last minute plan.
Jack: At least it went well for you?
Ruby: (Nods) Aye.
Jack: Did you find what you were looking for?
Ruby: (Nods smiling) Yes.
Jack: Are you gonna tell me what you were looking for?
Ruby: (Sighs) Not now.
Jack: Whatever. I don't wanna pressure you.

Jack began to caress Ruby's face and she began to smile sadly at the thought of how sad Jack would be to find out that their relationship would soon end.

Jack: So... what's your next adventure... Captain Evans.
Ruby: (Repeats with a smile) Captain Evans. I like how that sounds.
Jack: Oh really?

Ruby nodded again with a smile, but then her seriousness returned when she remembered that what was happening with her relationship with Jack was not a simple game.

Ruby: We're going to the river now...
Jack: Pantano Island?
Ruby: (Nods) ...You're gonna board the Black Pearl, and then we're going to Tortuga. There, we're going to have that conversation I told you we had pending.

When Jack heard that, he felt worried again.

Jack: It's everything okay?
Ruby: Nothing serious has happened. But it is something... really important.

Jack grabbed Ruby's face, intending to kiss her. She didn't follow the dreadlocked pirate's actions, but she didn't object either. Jack noticed the ship's captain's reaction, but he still crashed his lips into hers.

Ruby had no reaction to the kiss. She simply continued giving the necessary orders on her ship.

Ruby: (Giving the order to her crew) Weigh anchor! Hoist the sails! Set course for Pantano Island!
Pirates: Aye aye captain!
Ruby: Master Johari! I need you at my cabin right now!
Johari: Right now, Captain!

All the pirates listened and did what the Captain of the Lotus Flower said them to do.

Jack, before going to help, said a few last things privately to Ruby.

Jack: I'm so sorry.
Ruby: You have nothing to apologize for.
Jack: I love you, Apple Pie. I'll always do.

Ruby, upon hearing Jack's confession, first remained silent for a few seconds, thinking about Brooke, and then asked Jack to go help the other pirates.
