There was a pool party tonight which Jahseh's friends had invited him to so he invited his girl friend. None of them understood the point in it if she's not allowed to even talk to anyone.
Stokeley wanted him to leave her at her house but he knew once he had his mind made that wasn't happening. He also knew that it didn't matter how many times she said no Jahseh was going to make sure she got there.
"Bruh and we all single, Shit bout to go crazy" Danny cheered.
He was the newest single one because his girlfriend had gotten tired of finding out he was messing with more girls and wasn't going to keep arguing about it.
"Except X" Ming spoke making Jahseh nod.
"And I don't plan on being anytime soon" he chuckled, getting up from the couch.
In reality he knew that if Amia even hinted to their relationship ending right now he just might go crazy.
Amia on the other hand sat at home trying to figure out how to get out of going to this pool party. She hadn't had any bruises in more than a month and in order not to get new ones she didn't think going to a pool party with Jahseh would be beneficial.
She still looked for her bathing suit because she knew she wasn't going to get out of it. She just hoped she had fun tonight and not a fight. She already had it in her head not to talk to any guy no matter what they said to her no matter how far Jahseh was.
She let the time pass and got more and more nervous by the hour. She'd taken a shower and put her bathing suit on before putting shorts and a crop top over it to wear with her slides.
"You are going out tonight right Mija?" Her mother asked her making her nod.
"Okay, I'll go out too than" her mom spoke making her raise an eyebrow and she noticed.
"Well I was offered to go out tonight but I hate leaving you here alone all the time so I said no but since you're going I'll go" she told her, stepping out of her room.
Amia just shrugged and looked at herself in the mirror.
Her mother had been out a lot here recently but she knew she was in pain so she didn't question it.
She was going to chill some more when Jahseh text her and told her to let him in so she had to get off her bed. She walked downstairs and opened the door for Jahseh who's eyes instantly landed on her outfit.
He stepped in to see more "turn around" he told her making her turn and he nodded.
"You look good" he spoke which shot her anxiety cloud down.
"Your mom know where you going?" He asked her, walking into their kitchen for something to drink.
She nodded "yeah, she says she's going out too" she told him making him nod as he opened the juice and drunk it.
It gave her a nice view of his toned body. If anyone should be worried about outfits she felt like she needed to worry about his. He just looked really good in it.
"Why you staring so hard?" He asked her, catching her stare.
She looked away and shook her head making him chuckle. He walked around the counter and to her, grabbing her chin so she'd look up at him.
"If I look good just say that" he smirked at her making her smirk back.
"My moms upstairs Jahseh" she whispered back making him shrug.
"I want my compliment" he told her making her making her blush.
She kissed his lips before backing up "you look good papí" she told him which made him grin.
"Okay we can go now" he told her making her nod.
She wasn't as nervous about the night because his energy had calmed her down. He didn't seem violent and that made her feel better, she hoped she kept him feeling the same way throughout the night.
