The next day I woke up to 5 missed calls and 15 messages from Ciara which confused me but I went ahead and called her back.

"Hello" she answered, sounding like she was worried.

"Hey" I answered back hearing her sigh.

"Dang girl why you ain't answer my calls? What were you doing?" She asked me making me raise an eyebrow at the phone.

"I was sleeping after Jahseh had to drop me off because you left me" I told her making her giggle.

"Oh hush, he likes you I was just trying to let y'all get to know each other but I will admit that it wasn't supposed to be for that long. I fell asleep" she told me making me suck my teeth.

"Anyway how'd the night with Jahseh go?" She asked making me roll my eyes.

"He's okay C but I don't know him like that" I answered truthfully.

"That's why you have to get to know him Mia" she responded.

"I did. He said he wants to go on a date but I don't know" I told her and I heard her huff.

"Why not?" She asked.

"Because I told you I did a background check on them before the party and Jahseh is indeed a hoe" I told her and she nodded.

"True but I think he really likes you so it won't be like that."

"Yeah yeah, anyways how was your night?" I asked her and she sucked her teeth.

"Let yourself be happy. If he says he wants to take you on a date I'm 1000% sure he's not trying to do that" she told me and I rolled my eyes.

"I hear you but I still don't know" I told her.

"Anyways I just woke up so I gotta go you know do shit to start my day" I told her before she agreed and we hung up.

I stood up from my bed and stretched hearing bones crack and such before I went to the bathroom and handled my business.

After that I went downstairs to see that it was 12 in the afternoon which I didn't realize when I was on the phone with Ciara. Well that means both parents are gone and I have the house to myself. Nice and quiet.

Now to think about it if I want to pursue Jahseh or not. I mean it doesn't seem that bad.
