Amia tried her best not to freak out as she walked past the group of teen boys, she didn't want them to bother her in anyway shape or form. Today was on of her days were her and her anxiety were not a team.
Her anxiety was skyrocketing and had been since earlier that morning and she just wanted it to go away. The closer she got to the teens the louder they got and the faster her heart skipped in her chest.
She almost wanted to cry but she knew in order to get into the closest store to her house she would have to walk past them. If not she'd have to walk an extra 15 and there would more than likely be more people at the other store.
She thought so hard about going ahead and turning around now before anyone seen her and she had an outburst but she hadn't known she'd already caught someone's eye.
"Aye!" She heard a teen boy yell at her making her head snap up in fear.
Her eyes landed on the one who was looking at her. His hair was big and curly like hers but he had it cut into a box.
She could tell he was outgoing by the piercing on his face and the tattoos she visibly seen on his arm besides the fact that he went out of his way to talk to her.
He removed himself from the group who paid it no mind because they had seen her too and knew what he was doing.
"You're beautiful" the boy spoke to Amia which made her blush harder than she should've.
"T-Thank you" she stuttered, cussing herself out in her head for the way she spoke.
He nodded and followed her into the store.
"What's your name?" He asked her making her finally look at him face to face.
"Amia she answered and he nodded.
"I'm Danny" he told her and she nodded at his words.
"Can I have your number?" He asked her and she was too scared not to give it to him.
She'd heard what happens to some women when they don't give their number to a guy who seems nice.
"Sure" she answered and he nodded, taking out his phone for her to put it in.
After she put it in he awkwardly fist bumped her and headed outside the door.
"Talk to you later friend" he spoke which made her calm down, realizing he really was just being nice.
He'd really started to talk to her for Jahseh who was also standing outside of the store but was way too afraid to even walk past her so he got the number and new friendship so his friend would be happy.
