Once class was over I stood outside of the building waiting on Jahseh to get me.
"Aye Amia!" I heard someone yell making me turn my head.
It was just Gabe, jogging over to me.
"You got all the notes for today?" He asked me making me nod.
"Yeah you need them?" I asked him and he nodded this time.
"Yeah can I take pictures of them?" He asked and I nodded, going in my bag and getting my notebook.
Before I could open it a horn honked making me turn my head and look to see Jahseh. I put a finger up at him before turning back to Gabe and letting him take the pictures.
Once he was done I put the notebook back and walked over to Jahseh car. By that time it had caught everyone's attention so they were staring.
"Sir I don't know how to open this door" I told him from the rolled down window making him chuckle.
He got out the car and came over to my side, opening the door for me. He seemed to be okay or happy but once he got in the car himself and started to drive he didn't look happy anymore.
"I thought you said your new friend was a girl" he spoke to me making me nod.
"She is" I responded.
"Then who was that?" He asked.
"Gabe, he wanted my notes" I explained and he just nodded again.
The car was silent before he took a deep breath making me uneasy.
I can't let him hit me this time, he'll keep doing it. Plus I can tell he's been to the gym a little more.
"Why you look scared?" He asked me making me look over at him.
He shook his head "I'm not going to do anything to you I just wanted to know who he was, that's it" he told me and I nodded.
I tried to get back comfortable but I couldn't just go back to myself at the moment.
"You want me to take you home so you can calm down?" He asked me making me shake my head.
I know I need to be away from him but my stuff including my car was at his house.
"I just need a little space once we get there" I told him and he nodded.
Once we got to his house he let me in first before locking the door and walking downstairs into his basement so I went in his room.
I sat on his bed and rubbed my hands on my thighs because they were sweaty along with doing my breathing exercise. I was beginning to calm down which made me happy.
Jahseh didn't hit me or threaten me but just from the things he's done before I panicked.
