I sat silently in Jahseh's room, just scrolling on my phone. I was beginning to get hungry though. I lowkey want to go home also, it just feels better to chill in your own personal space.
I wasn't going to complain out loud though because I know Jahseh is hurt and Danny isn't bothering so I'll be fine.
"Knock knock" Danny spoke before stepping into Jahseh's room.
"You okay in here?" He asked and I shrugged.
"I am just a little hungry" I told him and he nodded.
"We'll come on let's go get something to eat" he told me and I nodded before standing up and putting on Jahseh's slides.
I didn't really realize they were his until I was going downstairs and tripped over my own foot making me realize how much space I had in them.
"Why you wearing his slides?" Danny asked while laughing at me.
"I did it on accident" I told him, rolling my eyes as I walked out the door.
"Mhm, just admit you like him" he told me as he walked out behind me and locked the door.
I realized we were outside and put my hood up, tying the strings. I followed him to the car and got in.
"So where we eating?" I asked and he shrugged.
"There's this place-" before he could finish his phone started to ring making him pick it up and put his seatbelt on before driving off.
"Wassup?" He said to whoever was on the phone.
I looked out the window as he drove not really trying to pay attention to his conversation but I couldn't help it once I heard my name.
"Yeah I gotta take her to get something to eat" he said into the phone.
"Nah I locked the door but were only going to Jacks you guys can meet us there" he spoke into the phone.
We ended up in front of the place Jahseh took me that night at the party.
"Oh I know this place. I just want some chicken tenders" I told him making him raise eyebrow.
"How do you know this place?" He asked and I shrugged.
"Jahseh" I told him and he furrowed his eyebrows.
"He took you on a date?" He asked me making me giggle a little.
"No I was just hungry" I told him and he nodded.
"I been trying to take her out though" Jahseh spoke making Danny reach under his seat but once he seen who it was he stopped.
"You almost got yo' ass popped" Danny told him making Jahseh only wave him off, letting me see his hand that had a cast on it.
"You can't just walk up to peoples car like that."
"You the one got the girl I'm supposed to be babysitting in the car I'm just doing my job" He joked making me roll my eyes.
"I'm telling my parents you did horrible."
