Jahseh already booked Amia's flight back home because she did say she had to go back. Once he did it though he realized the question he had for her the first time he booked the flight.
"When did you move to North Carolina?" He asked her making her look up at him.
"Um after I got the charges dropped" she answered and he nodded.
"You going to school there?" He asked and she nodded, not too bothered by the question.
He wondered why she didn't tell him that's where she moved.
"Be honest with me" he told her making her heart thump as she looked up at him.
"You were trying to hide from me?" He asked her making her look down.
She was going to be honest with him but she didn't know how to use her words correctly. So she just shook her head making him grabq under her chin and get her to look up at him.
"Why are you lying?" He asked her making her blush because he caught on.
"Why'd you ask if you knew the answer?" She asked him making him shake his head.
"Don't start no shit with me Amia you'll be here for a week" he told her.
"Why were you hiding?" He asked her making her tilt her head.
"You know why I was hiding from you" she spoke making the boy nod.
He figured it was something about how bad they were for each other like she'd stated when she was drunk.
"So then why are we doing this? Still not over me?" He questioned her making her sigh.
"Stop Seh" she spoke, grabbing his wrist to move his hand but he moved it himself, backing up from her.
"I'm right?" He asked her making her sigh and stand up.
"Then why not get back with me instead of us being some friends with benefits type of shit?" He continued.
"Jahseh drop it'" she told him and he shook his head.
"I'm not going to drop it Amia, answer me, these are my feelings you're playing with" he told her and she shook her head.
"I'm not trying to play with your feelings Jahseh" she spoke making him chuckle.
"Really? Because that's not how it seems" he told her.
He took a deep breath and shook his head "it's fine, if this is what you want to do that's fine but I want to at least know your feelings behind all this" he told her, remaining calm.
She looked at him but she didn't want to answer so she didn't, sitting back down on the bed.
"Don't ignore me" he spoke to her making her sigh.
"I'm not over you Jahseh but I can't keep being in a relationship with you and being held back from life but I don't want you completely out my life" she answered and he nodded.
"So you want to use me?" He asked her which made her furrow her eyebrows.
"What?" She asked him.
"That's what it is, you're trying to use me until you're over me. What if you don't get over me?" He asked her which only confused her more.
"Don't get over you?" She asked him and he nodded.
"What if you just don't?" He asked her again and she shrugged.
"I will" she told him and he chuckled.
"You don't know that, you're hoping that you do" he told her and she just placed her head down again.
"Personally I know that I want to be with you forever but I'm going to keep letting you take yourself in this circle until you get it" he told her.
"I can't be with you forever. You said yourself that you can't promise me you won't get violent" she reminded him, beginning to cry.
She didn't want to have the conversation anymore so she left room.
"Then you run away from the conversation like you do with everything else" Jahseh spoke making her cry.
"Stop Jahseh I'm trying to do what's best for me" she told him, stopping in her tracks.
He chuckled and turned her around to face him, making sure she was looking up at him.
"Then leave me alone."
"I can't" she told him and he nodded.
"Then stop crying about it" he told her and she shook her head.
"No because I want to it's just hard."
