Amia and Jahseh's "friendship" turned into something more. It wasn't exactly what Jahseh wanted but he was okay with it, it drew him closer to her.
He knew even though she was trying her best to seem tough and to keep her life a secret from him she still wasn't completely over him, otherwise she wouldn't be giving her body to him.
He also knew that without a doubt he was the only one getting to see her like this and it kept him sane.
At the moment he watched her phone ring for the third time, Jasmine's name popping up this time. The other two times he wasn't sure who it was but stayed calm and choose to ignore it.
She was too busy sleeping to know anything that was going on, he'd tired her out like usual.
He shook his head and walked out the room, going downstairs to get himself a water.
I sipped his water thinking about the fact that Jasmine definitely didn't know she was over there. He figured she didn't because he knows that Amia hasn't told anyone what they've been doing.
She hadn't because she knew she'd be judged for it but she couldn't let Jahseh go. She didn't take it too far like telling him where she stayed and being in a relationship with him, she'd learned her lesson from those.
She figured she couldn't get hurt this way, it was just casual sex. She hopes she doesn't get hurt this way.
Amia woke up while Jahseh was downstairs, shaking her head at herself. She was supposed to be in North Carolina but Jahseh wanted her so he paid for her to come down there.
Luckily she didn't have any classes.
She rubbed her eyes, sitting up when Jahseh walked in.
Her eyes landed on his cold water bottle before his actual person.
"I want some" she spoke making Jahseh jump but nod, handing her the water.
"When'd you wake up?" He asked her.
"Just now" she told him and he nodded.
He sat next to her in the bed, drinking the rest of the water beforestanding back up to throw it away.
He got back in the bed, yawning.
"Good you're finally sleepy" Amia joked, yawning right after.
"Nah, I got some energy. You trying to go again?"he asked her, gripping her waist.
She looked at him like he was crazy making him shrug "if you can't just say that, I think you can" he teased making her suck her teeth.
"You're lying" she told him and he shook his head.
She stared at him for a minute before he chuckled "I'm taking that as a no" he told her and she nodded.
"You're going to try to put me to sleep through tomorrowand I have to go" she told him which was partially true.
She didn't actually have to leave but she wanted to, she was afraid of getting attached to Jahseh again.
She didn't want to try their relationship again and have to avoid getting hit everyday. Maybe he changed maybe he didn't but she was tired of playing Russian roulette with that.
