Amia sat in her room, looking over her healing arms and letting her mind flutter with thoughts to keep going but she knew not to. Just like she knew not to be around Jahseh but she wanted so badly to be.
She didn't think he really liked her anymore though, not enough to be his girlfriend. Even though she still wore the ring he gave her she felt like it would never be.
But that's what he wanted. He wanted her to feel like she had to jump through hops to get back to him when in reality she didn't. He wanted her.
He didn't really like the women he had put around himself. He knew if he was to do to them what he'd done to Amia they'd tell and he didn't like that. He didn't really like the girls but because of his title in life now they loved him, well how he looked they didn't really know him.
If anyone outside of his circle and the police of course knew what he did to her he wouldn't be where he was. Even his friends didn't understand to a full extent what he'd been doing to her. The only person who understood was him.
"Mija I'm leaving for working. Don't go to Jahseh's and he can't come here" her mother spoke making her nod.
"Okay mamí have a good day at work" she told her mother before going back into her phone.
She did want to go to Jahseh's and her mothers words wouldn't stop that. What was stopping it was her pride, she didn't want to ask him.
She felt like she shouldn't have to and she didn't have to.
Jahseh was going to get her in the house regardless. He was excited about her 18th coming up. He knew once it did her mom couldn't tell her what to do about her situation with him anymore.
He wasn't going to completely put her in his life until after that because he knew he could get in trouble for this.
Feeling lonely he picked up his phone and text her, just to see what she'd say.
