Maya and Lucas continued to send letters.
Lucas didn't return back from military for about a year.
Throughout that year as they were sending letters, they realized something.
They had feelings for each other.
They have been best friends all their life, they never realized they would start dating.
Today in 2015, as Lucas returned from the military, they are dating.
It's crazy how just those letters changed everything.
