I walked into the subway and took a seat by the door.
I watched as other people came in, while I reached for my bag.
I grabbed out my novel and pushed my glasses up on my nose.
I'm kinda a geek, but I'm proud of it.
I sat up in my seat as the subway started to move.
Time went by until I heard someone walking towards me. "Is this seat taken?"
I looked up to see a guy, around my age I'm guessing, pointing to the seat next to me.
"Umm no." I said, moving my bag out of the way.
He nodded and sat down next to me.
"Cool book." He said, looking at the cover.
"Thanks."
If you couldn't notice, I'm not very good at socializing with people.
All the guys at me school just to refer to me as the nerd in the grade..
Ten minutes went by when I felt this guy staring at me. The entire time.
I slowly put my book down and looked at him. "Is there something on my face??"
He looked confused. "What??" No."
"Why do you keep staring at me then?" I asked.
He let out a small chuckle. "Because you are beautiful. I'm Lucas friar, by the way."
I felt my cheeks get red. "But we barely know each other."
Lucas shrugged. "We all start out as strangers."
