Do you ever get that feeling where you really don't want to go to school tomorrow?
Actually, that's me everyday but tomorrow I really I don't want to.
My mom came into my room and put my stuff on my bed. "Maya you're 15, don't you think you could've packed your own things?"
"I guess." I mumbled.
So, my history class was going to Washington for a school trip.
We live tomorrow morning really early.
Yeah yeah, I should be excited since I'll he gone for three days and I have all my friends.
But, there's just one little thing getting in the way.
My mom talked, "I know you're afraid of heights but you'll be fine."
There was no one around but it was still embarrassing to hear. "Mom."
She stood up and said, "sorry! But I know you'll be fine."
I sat on my bed, just thinking to myself.
The weird thing is none of my friends now I'm afraid of heights.
My mom obviously knows because of past experiences.
But I've never been on a plane before...
So....tomorrow should be interesting.

I got to school the next day, basically since I was forced.I don't have my license yet so my mom had to drive me here.
It was 6 am.. It was bad enough we had to come to school at 7 everyday but why 6?
I walked over to my friends who were already here.
"Hi Maya!" Riley said, making a spot for me on the bench.
I sat down, finding myself between her and my other friend Lucas.
"How are you guys all so awake?" I said.
"Oh please Maya, I wake up at this time everyday. This hair takes work." Farkle said, on the other side of Lucas.
I rolled my eyes as he wandered off somewhere.
"I wake up at this time everyday, but I usually don't get up for like 30 minutes." Lucas said.
Okay that's me.
I was trying not to show my nervousness around my friends, as long as nobody talked about it...
"So are you guys ready for three hours on a plane?" Riley asked.
Wow I totally jinxed it for myself.
I quickly stood up and walked towards Farkle.
It didn't take long for Farkle to comment, "so you wanna sit by me Maya?"
Before I could answer, mr Matthews came by. "I'm afraid she can't Farkle. We have seating assignments."
I couldn't help but groan. Really Matthews really?
He got everyone's attention and took roll to see if everyone was here.
Once he got done, he said "Okay listen closely! I have your seating arrangements."
He started reading off names as Lucas and Riley came to sit by us.
Once he got to our names, I was pretty sure he would say Riley and Maya.
