Maya's POV:
"Hey guys, wanna come over after school?" Riley said.
"Sure."
The bell rang, and we all took our seats waiting for history class to begin.
-after school-
I grabbed my backpack out my locker, stuffing my history homework in my backpack. Ugh.
I don't understand the concept of homework. I come to school for seven hours, what else do they need?
I walked across the hallway to where Farkle and Lucas's lockers were.
"Where's Riley?" Farkle asked me.
I shrugged.
Suddenly, I heard loud pants coming our way to see Riley in her gym uniform.
I forgot she had gym last year.
"Ugh! They made us run a mile!! I hate gym!" Riley said, putting her hands on her knees.
"You wanna go change first?" I said, taking a step away from her.
Riley went to the bathroom to go change and came back a few minutes later.
"Okay lets go!!"
-at Riley's house-
We were all sitted on the floor in Riley's room.
"Let's play truth or dare!!" Riley exclaimed. I saw her smirking at me and Lucas.
Great.
"Can I play?!!" Riley's little brother auggie said, poking his head through the door.
Riley groaned. "auggieeee."
"I'll tell mom."
"Fine you can play." Auggie smiled with pleasure as he took a seat between Riley and Farkle.
"Okay I'll go first." Lucas volunteered.
He turned to Farkle "truth or dare??"
"Truth."
"Okay. Maya or Riley?" Lucas asked.
"You can only pick one." He added.
"Ummm... Riley. Sorry Maya." He said looking at me.
Don't worry Farkle. I'm fine.
I saw Riley blushing a little bit but then shook it off.
"Okay... Maya truth or dare?" Farkle asked me.
"Dare." I'm feeling risky.
I saw Riley whisper something into Farkle's ear. He nodded and smiled.
"I dare you to kiss Lucas."
I bit my lip. I sneaked a glance at Lucas.
"well a dare is a dare." Lucas said, smiling at me.
I felt random chills go through my body.
"We're waiting." Riley said.
I looked back at Lucas and slowly leaned in.
Before I knew it, our lips connected. I have to admit, it felt.... Good.
After a few seconds, we released the kiss. I just stared at him for awhile until auggie started singing.
"Lucas and Maya sitting in a tree!" Soon enough Farkle and Riley joined in.
"first comes love, then comes marriage, then comes Lucas with a baby carriage!"
I felt my red fill with embarrassment as I looked down at my knees.
But I looked back at Lucas to see him smiling at me.
And I smiled back.
