How I think Girl meets Family Game Night should've been like....
Maya's POV:
I walked into the Matthews apartment and said, "sup weirdos."
"Hey Maya." Riley said, coming over to sit by me.
I watched as mr Matthews was all frustrated about Riley having friends over.
"Have you told him yet." I whispered.
"Nope." Riley whispered back.
"Told me what?" Cory said.
The doorbell than rang and Riley stood up. "Come in!"
"Ugh more people!" Cory groaned.
Lucas and Farkle appeared at the door and shut the front door behind them.
"Hey guys." Farkle said.
I looked at Lucas behind Farkle. It's been a couple weeks since I've seen him since he went to Texas.
"Hey cowboy." I called out to get his attention.
He looked at me. "Yes?"
"How was Texas?"
Lucas looked surprised. "No insults about Texas?"
I smiled. "Ah you know me so well."
The doorbell than rang again and Cory groaned again. "Who else could be here?!"
"Umm... It's your younger brother and son." The voice said.
I suddenly perked up. Josh is here!
Okay I may or may not have a crush on my best friends brother that is older than me... Not weird.
They came in and I smiled. "Well hello there."
Josh gave me a slight smile and said, "what are we doing here?"
"Family game night!" Topanga exclaimed, sitting next to Riley.
"Family and friends game night more." Cory mumbled.
We all sat down and Josh sat down. "Are we in teams?"
We started to pick teams and I looked around. "Well it looks like it's you and me josh."
Auggie looked up at him. "But he's my uncle!"
I grabbed Josh's arm. "But he's my husband!"
I saw Lucas on the corner of my eye glaring towards Josh's direction but I ignored it.
Lucas cleared his throat. "Umm wanna be partners... Riley?"
Riley suddenly perked up. "Yes!!! I mean sure."
"But what about me!" Cory said.
Riley patted his shoulder. "Sorry dad.."
Riley scooted towards Lucas and started giggling awkwardly.
"Okayyyy... How about we start now." Lucas said awkwardly.

About halfway through the game, it was Josh's turn.
"You can roll for us Maya." Josh said, handing me the dice.
I heard Lucas groan out loud but then faked a smile.
What's up with him?
Riley didn't seem to notice since she was so attracted to Lucas and her parents were way too into the game.
I rolled the dice and I exclaimed, "finish! We won!"
"Yeah!" Josh exclaimed.
We high fived each other and I kept my hand there, smiling.
"Okay you can let go now maya." Josh said.
"Do I have to?"
He nodded and I let go and looked at everybody else.
Everybody seemed okay but Lucas.
Riley nodded her head towards me and we both stood up.
"Mom dad can they sleepover?" Riley asked.
Cory and Topanga nodded. "Sure."
Riley turned towards everyone. "Can you guys?"
"I can." Lucas and Josh said at the same time.
They both exchanged looks and then looked away.
"Great! Let's get snacks!" Riley said, dragging my arm away.

Everybody left the living room to go somewhere else and Lucas and josh sat there alone.
"Joshua right?" Lucas said to josh.
"Uh huh. You must be cowboy." Josh simply said.
"Nobody can call me cowboy besides Maya." Lucas said, in an annoyed tone.
"Whatever man." Josh said, putting his hands up in surrender.
Lucas rolled his eyes and said, "what's with you and Maya anyways?"
Josh shrugged, "I don't know. Kinda like her. Got a problem?"
Lucas clenched his fists together. "Nope I'm just fine."
Josh looked at him. "If I wasn't blind I would say you like Maya but..."
"What are you talking about?"
"I think you heard me.."
"I don't like Maya!" Lucas yelled a little too loudly.
"Dude calm down."
"I don't think you're trustworthy... I'm not gonna let Maya date you."
Josh laughed out loud. "Since when are you in charge of Maya's decisions?"
Lucas scoffed, not knowing what else to say after that.
"I'm watching you." Lucas warned him.
Josh rolled his eyes and Riley and Maya came in shortly after.
"Hey guys wanna watch a movie?" Maya asked.
"Sure!" Lucas and Josh said at the same exact time.
Maya sat down on the couch and immediately josh and Lucas ran to the couch.
They both sat on both sides of her and fake smiles at each other.
It's on, buddy. Lucas/Josh thought.
