Im so so excited for this field trip." Riley said to me.
"Same here." I said, sarcastically.
Riley turned to face me. "I know you're being sarcastic."
I sighed aloud. "I just wanna stay home and watch netflix. You feel me?"
Riley smiled and nodded her head slightly. "I can understand that."
I have to admit, I'm really excited for this field trip. I'm just not showing it.
For history class, we are going to an art museum.
I don't know why since it's history, but honestly everything in that class is off topic.
I love painting and art, so I'm kinda excited to see the paintings.
Mr Matthews came out into the hallway, holding a clipboard.
He was our history teacher and also Riley's dad. Yep...
"Okay class, I have assigned partners for you all."
The class groaned and I looked to Riley.
The only good part is, assuming this is my best friend's father, he will obviously pair Riley and I together.
He started reading off all the names until he got to Riley.
"Riley and farkle." He said.
Yea---wait what?!
I saw Riley's face flush red. "What?! Why?"
She then lowered her voice. "This is all his fault. I told him I had a crush on farkle."
Before I could ask her why she would even tell him, I spoke up to him.
"Hey last time I checked my name isn't Farkle." I said.
He just nodded. "You're right. It's not. You are paired with friar."
I glanced over at Farkle to see who was next to him.
"Why?! Why him?!" I exclaimed.
Lucas friar and I weren't exactly the best of friends. It's not that we hated each other.
I just...why mr Matthews? Why?
We started leaving towards the buses since we were running late.
"We can add this to my sucky field trips." I said, sighing.
Riley being Riley, looked on the positive side. "Come on maybe it'll still be fun."
We took our seats at the front of the bus. We didn't have to be with our partners yet.
"That's because you got your crush Farkle. I got Lucas friar."
We both sat in silence as the bus started.
"Well can I ask you some advice?" Riley asked me.
"Okay fine."
"What if I'm too awkward around Farkle?"
I let out a laugh. "You're already awkward around him Farkle. Don't worry."

"Just ask her out." Lucas said to farkle.
"really? Just like that?"
"Yeah. It's pretty simple actually."
Turns out, Farkle actually had a crush on Riley too.
