(Setting kinda like the episode Girl Meets 1961)
-at a small diner-
Maya walks up to the owner.
"Hi, I would like to a sing a song." She said timidly.
Maya Hart was one of the most shyest people in her grade and had a big fear of stage fright.
But that ended tonight.
"Go over to that guy and he will help you out." The girl said, pointing to a teenager.
"Okay."
Maya walked over to him and quietly observed the guy. He was pretty good looking and looked around Maya's age.
Maya bit her lip nervously. Maya wasn't really good at socializing with people besides her two best friends Riley and farkle.
She took a deep breath and walked over to him.
He looked up from the karoke laptop and smiled at her. "Hello. What will you be singing today?"
"I'm actually singing a song I wrote.." I said, holding out my guitar.
The guy smiled again and said, "well the stage is yours! Good luck."
Maya smiled back. "Thanks."
She walked up on stage and took a seat on the stool.
She took one last deep breath, imagining she was just playing in her quiet bedroom.
She started to sing, "the middle of starting over."

-after her performance-
The crowd claps loudly and whistles.
Maya smiles and stands up. "Thank you!" She says into the microphone,
She walks off the stage and sees the karoke guy again. "Wow good job!"
Maya smiled shyly and didn't say anything.
"What's your name?" The guy asked.
"Maya."
Lucas smiled. "I'm Lucas."
Lucas sat down at a table, motioning Maya to sit down.
"shouldn't you be working?" Maya asked.
"Nah. This is my aunts business, that's how I got a job here." He chuckled.
-they talked for about 2 hours-
Lucas looks at his watch. "Wow! Time sure flies. I have to go home for dinner."
Maya and Lucas both stood up from the table.
"Okay." Maya said.
Lucas slowly leaned over and kissed her cheek. "Bye." He smiled at her and walked out.
"Bye." Maya felt her cheek where he had kissed her and walked home, whispering to herself, "you changed me."
