A/N I had problems posting this oneshot last time... So I tried again! 😜
I laid out my towel neatly, making sure it was straight.
I grabbed my umbrella and put it above the towel.
I then sat down and put a little tanning lotion.
I never tan, I'm so pale. I hate it.
I shifted in my outfit as I laid down, trying to get comfortable.
I hate wearing bikinis. My best friend Riley made me wear one to our day at the beach with our friends.
I grabbed my sunglasses out of my bag and put them on.
I sat there for a few minutes, relaxing my eyes as the sun rays hit me.
Suddenly, I felt the heat go away and shade hitting me.
I took off my sunglasses to see Lucas blocking my sun.
"Friar!! Move out of the way!!" I whined.
"Get in the water!" He exclaimed.
I made a face. "No. The ocean is gross."
He let out a overdramatic gasp. "How are you human?"
I put my sunglasses back on and laid back in my chair.
"I'll get you in the water." Lucas said.
"Good luck with that." Riley said, coming towards us with Farkle.
I pointed at Riley. "What she said."
Suddenly I felt a pair of arms grab me and lift me up into the air.
"Lucas!!" I exclaimed, trying to wiggle out of his grip.
I heard him laugh and continue to run full speed towards the ocean.
"She called him by his first name." Riley whispered as we ran by.
We made it to the ocean and Lucas set me down into the water.
I flinched at the sudden touch of the water, and then looked at Lucas.
"I'll get you back." I said.
"What are you gonna do??" Lucas challenged.
I leaned down I put a finger in the water. Then, I put my entire hand in and splashed Lucas in the stomach.
"Is that all you got??" Lucas said.
Suddenly, I felt water hit my hair and entire body.
"Oh you are gonna get it!!"
I chased him through the water, laughing and splashing each other.
We got to the point where we were laughing so hard we stopped and stared at each other for a second.
I then splashed him again. "I get the last splash!!" I dashed off.
Lucas continued to run after me and then stopped to get his breath.
"You win, hart." He said.
I smiled. "Good game, cowboy."
-with Riley and Farkle-
They watched their friends splash each other in the water."So much for our day at the ocean all together." Farkle said.
Riley shrugged. "I say we ditch them."
Farkle nodded and they left their two lovebird friends behind.
