I sneezed for like the thousandth time that day.
I had a ton of gross wadded up tissues beside me and I was wrapped up in a heavy blanket.
I hate being sick!!
It's so hard being in high school and missing school days. I'm gonna have so much work.
I took my temp and put it inside my mouth.
I listened for a beep and took it out. 102.
"You are supposed to go down not up!!" I said, frustrated.
I sneezed again and reached for my tissue box. There was none left.
I groaned. I already used up the entire box.
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. "It's Lucas."
I bolted up as I heard his voice. I can't let him see me like this!
I ran to the kitchen, searching for my brush.
Where is it?!
I looked around and facepalmed myself. My brush wouldn't be in the kitchen. Stupid.
"I have a key." Lucas said, closing the door behind him.
I turned around and scratched my head. "I look awful."
We sat on the couch and Lucas shook his head. "You still look beautiful."
"You are just saying that because your my boyfriend."
He chuckled. "Still more beautiful than all the girls at our school. Besides you."
I blushed, looking down. "Your not so bad yourself."
He grabbed out a bag from his backpack and handed me tissue boxes.
"From now till you stop being sick you can call me nurse lucas."
I giggled. "Nurse is a term for girls stupid."
He scoffed. "Fine. Doctor Lucas."
"Why thank you." I said, opening the tissue box.
He threw his bag to the ground and put his arm around me.
"Break time!" He exclaimed.
He turned on the tv and watched netflix movies.
