I walked into the apartment building and looked around.
"Are you sure this is Riley's apartment?" Lucas asked.
I rolled my eyes. "Yes stupid, she's my best friend."
We walked towards the elevator when Farkle told us he was taking the stairs.
I would too but I'm too lazy.
We stepped into the elevator and I looked at the buttons.
How come I couldn't remember what floor Riley was on?
"Push a button." Lucas said, as the elevator closed.
I stared blankly at the buttons and Lucas laughed at me. "Does her best friend not remember what floor she lives on?"
I pressed a button. "Shut up."
I was kinda guessing on the button, but the elevator started going up... Very slowly.
Lucas shook his head. "I know that's not right I've been here before."
He pressed a different button and I stared at him. "Seriously?"
I pushed another button and it kinda went on like that for awhile.
I swated his hand away and looked at the buttons. "We almost pushed all of them."
Right on cue, the elevator stopped right where it was.
I touched a button and it didn't move.
"What the heck?" I said.
"The elevator is stuck." Lucas said, leaning his hand against the door.
I started to panic. "This is all your fault cowboy."
"How is it my fault?!"
"You kept pushing buttons!"
"You did too!"
"Whatever. Now we are stuck here." Lucas said, taking a seat on the floor.
"For how long?" I asked him.
He shrugged. "I don't know. Whenever someone fixes the elevator."
-an hour later-
"Can you tell me why you call me cowboy?" Lucas asked me.I shrugged, sitting next to him.
We have been stuck here for almost an hour and it amazes me Riley and Farkle haven't done anything about it.
"Well.. I kinda like it." I heard Lucas say.
I looked at him. "Really?"
He shrugged. "Yeah, it's better than the other nicknames you have for me."
I smiled, remembering all the nicknames I had for him.
------------
"So then one of the houses escaped." Lucas said, telling me some dumb story from when he lived in Texas."Wow. I'm so interested in everything your saying." I said sarcastically.
He just smiled. "I know and that's exactly why I'm telling you."
-----
"I've been to Texas." I said plainly. He looked at me surprised. "What really?"
I mumbled. "Yes."
"Oh this is the best day of my life." He said, looking up at the ceiling overdramatically. (A/N tv show reference)
I made a face. "It's not that big of a deal!"
"Yeah yeah, considering on the Texas jokes you have, yes it is."
"It was boring. And hot."
"And it's loud. And cold here."
I paused. "Okay I see your point. But loud isn't boring."
"All the taxis though."
I leaned back on the wall. "Ehh you get used to it when you have lived here awhile. It'll take you western boy awhile."
He rolled his eyes. "Oh boy."
-------
2 hours and a half has passed.I stood up after sitting forever and banged lightly on the doors. "Come on!"
On top of all of this, I have to go to the bathroom. If only I knew I would get stuck in here.
Lucas stood up as well. "You know being stuck in a elevator wasn't that bad."
"You think that?" I said smirking.
He nodded. "Well yeah, you're pretty entertaining hart."
I thought about his words. "Your okay cowboy.. But still boring, like Texas."
We both suddenly looked to our side to see the elevator had moved and opened.
Riley and Farkle both stood there, and had heard the entire conversation.
Riley crossed her arms. "Well well well, was your elevator adventure fun?"
I glared at her. "Riley."
"Did you guys kiss or something?" Farkle asked.
I was surprised to hear this from him considering he had a crush on me.
"Ew no!" Lucas and I said at the same time.
"Riley why didn't you do something sooner??" I exclaimed.
She shrugged. "I don't know."
I groaned, and went towards her apartment with Lucas following me.
-with Riley and Farkle-
"So did it work?" Farkle asked.Riley nodded. "I think so. Very nice job."
Farkle nodded. "Yeah I hardly do take the stairs."
It was silent and than Farkle said, "when did you become such a rebel anyways?"
Riley shrugged. "when I started to ship Laya of course!! I made up that name by the way."
