I pushed up my glasses as i wrote in my diary.
Yep, I'm a 17 year old girl with a diary. Make fun of me all you want. Everyone already does.
I sat alone at a table, slowly eating my food, writing in my diary.
Suddenly, my diary was snatched out of my hands.
"What a nerd!" A guy exclaimed.
I looked up to see missy. The most popular and snobbiest girl in school.
"Let's see what the dork has written today."
My face turned red and tried to fight back tears. "Give it back!"
I reached up to get it but missy put it above her head.
I jumped to get it, but I was too short.
The lunchroom filled with laughter... At me.
Where were the teachers? Or any adults? Nobody cares to help me.
Missy looked at my face and changed her expression.
"Awwwww the poor baby wants her precious book back." She said, faking a sad face.
She threw the book at me so it hit me in the face and some of the guys threw trash at me.
Suddenly, teachers started coming towards us.
"Let's go!" One of the girls whispered.
They all ran off.
I shoved my diary in my backpack and headed straight to the girls bathroom.
I carefully took out a pack of toothpicks and got one out.
I poked it hard with my skin and flinched at how much it hurt.
I put it back in my backpack and covered up my scars.
I went out of the bathroom to see....
Lucas friar.
"Hey." He said quietly.
"What do you want." I said, even quieter not making eye contract.
"I saw what happened earlier..."
I faked a laugh. "Didn't everyone."
He slowly came closer to me and moved my chin up so I was facing him.
"Don't listen to anyone. They are assholes. You are beautiful, fun, gorgeous and you don't deserve anything like this."
He leaned over to kiss my cheek, the touch of his lips were very soft.
"Thank you." I whispered.
"No. Thank you. Thank you for being you." He said, smiling warmly at me.
