"I DONT WANNA GO TO SCHOOL." I whined as my covers got lifted off of me.
"You guys broke up over a month ago, get over it!!" Riley exclaimed, dragging me out of bed.
As I got closer to her, Riley made a face and plugged her nose. "When was the last time you showered?!?"
She pushed me into the bathroom to get ready for school....
-with Lucas-
I groaned as my best friend scolded me out of bed.
"Come on dude, it's been almost a month." Farkle said.
I looked up at him. "It's only been a month?! It's been like years."
Farkle rolled his eyes at him. "Get up."
I put my pillow over my head, ignoring him.
Suddenly I felt a powerful tug on my blankets.
"Get your butt up and take a shower while your at it!!"
I mumbled as I walked into the bathroom to get ready for school.
-At school-
Maya's POV:
I walked into school, basically being dragged here by Riley.
I reached my locker and banged it open with the back of my fist, stuffing my crap inside.
Riley opened her locker beside me and turned towards me.
"Look on the bright side Maya!!" She said cheerfully.
I stared at her blankly. "What bright side?"
Her expression changed. "I dont know i was just trying to make you feel better.."
"Well thanks for trying." I shut my locker and looked at my surroundings.
Suddenly, i saw him walking down the hallway in my direction.
I felt tears sting my eyes and I turned towards my locker.
Riley must of noticed as well because she walked towards them.
"You got Lucas here? Sweet." Riley said to Farkle.
Farkle nodded. "Our plan might just work."
Riley crossed her fingers. "Let's hope."
Riley and Farkle watched their miserable friends at their lockers.
The bell rang and the hallways started clearing.
"Meet me at lunch." Riley whispered as she walked away.
-at lunchtime-
I didn't know where Riley went so I wandered the caferteria by myself.
Suddenly, I heard my phone beep in my pocket and I pulled it out.
Lucas/Maya POV:
Riley/Farkle: meet me at the football field.
Maya/Lucas: *sighs* okay.
They both left the room, unaware of the trap their friends created.
-at the football field-
Back to Maya's POV:
I walked towards the football field, sun rays hitting me.
I made it to the center and stopped, there was no one here.
I suddenly heard footsteps come towards me and I turned in that direction.
And you wouldn't believe who that person was... Lucas.
He made it to the center with me and looked around as well.
"Hi." He said awkwardly.
We both just stood there, not knowing what else to do.
Suddenly, Farkle and Riley came running towards us.
"Riley!" I exclaimed the same time that Lucas exclaimed "Farkle!"
I suddenly heard tons of students fill the football stands, looking in our direction.
"Umm what's going on?" I asked, confused.
Riley and Farkle exchanged looks and nodded.
Riley then spoke to me. "Maya you've been telling me for over a month now how much you missed Lucas."
My face turned red and I looked down, knowing Lucas what right there.
"You miss me??" Lucas asked.
"Kinda.." I muttered.
Then Farkle spoke up. "Funny, Lucas has been telling me the same thing."
I looked at Lucas who was blushing. "You have?"
He then looked up and we locked eyes. "Yes. I missed you more then anything..."
"I missed you too..." I whispered.
"I'm really sorry about last time Maya... I was stupid." He said.
He took a breath and then continued, "will you do me the honor and be my girlfriend again?"
My eyes filled up with tears, but happy tears this time. "Yes!!"
We hugged and the entire crowd of students cheered.
In the middle of the tight hug Lucas leaned down and whispered in my ear.
"I love you."
