The umbrella academy: In which Five gets all the love he deserves

Fives used to get sick a lot of times. His mother said that his immune system is weaker than the ones of his siblings. So every time there was a season change or he stayed too much outside when it was raining or snowing he got sick immediately. His sickness was not bad. Just a cough, sore throat, and runny nose. Or a headache. They were just colds that lasted 24 or 48 hours. They were never serious but his mother forbid his father to make him train when he was sick.

"No offense sir. But his sickness could get worse if he overexerts himself when he's supposed to rest", she always said. His father agreed to let him rest. But he was never pleased about it. And the rough and hard training he got when his sickness was got was a good example that he was unpleased.

His sickness even though happened many times were not bad and they were gone in two days. But Five could easily remember that there were two times when he was so sick that he even become delirious. The first time it happened was when he was maybe 4 or 5. He trained in the rain for hours. Meaning that he had stayed in soaked cold clothes for hours. When the training was over and he was permitted to go and change and shower, he already felt the starting of a headache. His appetite died down and he couldn't sleep at night because he was either too hot or too cold. By the next day, he was very sick with a high fever and his body was aching everywhere. He was delirious too. That's what his mother had told him anyway. And in his delirious state, he sought comfort from his siblings. But Allison didn't want to get sick. Luther was too busy being number one than to take care of his sick brother. Diego was just too awkward. Viktor was in the panic room and no one was allowed there. And Klaus and Ben had their own problems with their powers. Klaus with the ever-present ghosts around him that scare him. And Ben with the monster inside of him made for killing. His father was a big no. Pogo would probably report to his father, but that only if he doesn't get pity on the kid. But Pogo was always with his father. So he was no too. The only one remained his mother. 

So he went to her in search of comfort. Something that he received. When she saw him she dropped everything that she was doing to take care of him. She feed him chicken soup and gave him medicine. She gave him tea and wiped away the sweat with a cold washcloth. And when he made grabby hands at her, she didn't hesitate to climb in the bed and cuddle Five to her chest. His mother may be a robot. But at that moment she was more human than his whole family.

The second time he got so sick to the point of delirium, was after a few months after he got stuck in the Apocalypse. It was because of the heat and the polluted air and the lack of food. It was worse than the last time because this time he didn't have his mother to take care of him anymore. But when he was laying down on the floor in his temporary shelter, something that used to be a shop, he felt a cold smooth, and gentle hand, stroking his forehead. And when he opened his eyes he saw his mother. He knew that he was hallucinating, but he couldn't help but lean into her hand as he closed back his eyes...

That was the last time he got sick to the point of delirium. He was grateful that he didn't get sick like this when in the Commission. But he realized that he rarely got sick when he got older. And that was a good thing. Then he had traveled back in time and got stuck in his 13-year-old body. He didn't get sick these weeks. Which was a surprise. Because he rarely got any sleep or food, to busy to stop two Apocalypses. Then one day, a few months after they returned back in 2019. Five went to sleep early because he felt the beginning of a headache. He struggled to fall asleep because he was either cold or too hot.

Allison was in the kitchen, making food because her mother was out with Diego. Even if she wasn't out she would still have done it. She likes to help her mother around now that she and her siblings moved back home. Plus they are all grown up. They shouldn't expect everything from their mother. So as Allison was busy making food, she didn't hear a person walking into the kitchen and approaching her until she felt a pair of skinny arms wrapping around her waist. She jumped and she turned around in the arms to see Five, who buried his face in her chest. She was frozen in shock. Does her 'don't touch me or I will kill you'little brother is snuggling against her?
