(Aly's POV)
After Alpha Gab said that, Aly did her fighting stance. She doesn't have the strength Carlos has, but she has her self-defense and training to overpower him.
She looked him up and down. He is a big man, but he wasn't nimble and quick. She could tire him out before knocking him over. This is the fight where she needs to win. It doesn't matter if he is taller than her. She just needs to employ the right offense and defense.
Aly put up her fists on the sides of her head. She made sure that her forearms are vertical and parallel her palms turned inward on her cheeks. If Carlos can land a punch on her head, it could mean the end for her.
She hunched slightly to protect her midsection. She spits the blood on her mouth, and it tasted metallic.
"You are dead meat, Field!" Carlos laughed and began charging. His big body hurled itself at her. Aly easily evaded it by dodging to the side, and she was able to land a punch on his side. Carlos winced and glared at her.
He swings his feet in the air in a roundhouse kick, and Aly dodges down. She smirked. The guy is getting agitated by her moving around.
"Stop moving around! Face me, head-on, coward!"
Aly kept her cool. She doesn't have to face him force by force, or she'll lose. He clearly has the strength and power of her. She clenched her jaw and didn't say any word. Talking will just exhaust her. She should reserve her strength.
"Aaaah!" Carlos shouted and began charging at her.
Aly looked behind her, and she was backed in a corner with the children behind her. She gritted her teeth. The children could get hurt if she let Carlos charge her.
"Move!" Aly shouted at the children, and she inhaled deeply in relief when they scattered away, but it was too late to dodge Carlos's attack.
He gripped her neck with his two hands. Aly's first instinct is to try to pry Carlos's hands, but he was so strong. She was beginning to get dizzy with the lack of oxygen in her lungs, and her muscles began to tire. She knows in her training that she doesn't have to compete with a man strength by strength. So, she tightened up her neck, step back in her right leg and duck low to target the weakest link on his grip, his two thumbs. She successfully became free from his grasp.
Aly coughed to relax and inhaled deeply.
Carlos looked at her bewildered, but before he could react. Aly threw a punch on his face that made him fall slightly on his right, but he could brace himself with his feet.
But then Aly wouldn't take chances now. She could die from that choke! She can still feel his grip on her neck, and it stings and throbs with pain.
Aly threw a strong punch again and again on his face until he was bleeding and gasping. Then she flew in the air to deliver a roundhouse kick on his face. But he was able to take hold of her feet and sent her flying to the ground.
"Aly!" She heard Rylie called out her name.
Aly's vision blurred for a moment. She looked at Rylie, and Alpha Gab held her back. Rules are rules when it comes to fighting between packs. And Rylie shouldn't intervene so, Aly shook her head at her.
Don't interrupt the fight, Rylie. These are the rules of the pack, and I must follow.
Aly........
She scrambled to get up and looked where she last saw Carlos. He staggered towards her, and there was loathing in his eyes as he looked at her. He was also bloody on the left side of his face, and he was clutching his ear.
If she gets hit by Carlos, she would surely be done for. Aly struggled to put her hands up in a fist. Then she spits the blood on her mouth again.
"Come on......come on!" She punched her legs a few times before it started obeying her. She put her fist up just in time to see Carlos shifting in his wolf form.
Aly's eyes widen. She dodged to the side when his body began exploding into fur, muscles, and claws in mid-air. She covered her eyes when clouds of dust began swirling from where Carlos landed and when the fog cleared. Carlos, in his black big wolf form, appeared in front of her eyes.
He snarled, and the pack backs a few feet away. Children were rushed inside the cabins.
Aly sighed. She doesn't wanna do this, but if he wants to fight in his wolf form. She will too! She took a deep breath and readied herself from the onslaught of pain from the transformation. And she began calling for her wolf to come forward as she backs away and run towards Carlos.
Her body began transforming in mid-air as she lunges her wolf form on Carlos. Her massive white wolf immediately slashed at his throat, but he dodged it.
Compared to their human form. Aly's wolf is comparable to Alpha Gab, and though Carlos's wolf form is also massive. She's two times larger.
Aly snarled and showed off her fangs. "Kneel down!"
Carlos's wolf form began whimpering, but Aly didn't take this opportunity to attack him. He shook his head from her command. Then he snarled too before rushing towards her. Aly faced him head-on. She tackled him to the ground and clawed at him. He tried to shield his arms but Aly in her rage. Punch it again and again until his arms are broken, and she bit every part of his upper body. Then she punches him in the face with hard blows until Alpha Gab shouted.
"Enough!"
Aly's breathing was labored as she stopped her fists in mid-air. Carlos was beginning to go back to his human form. His arms are broken, and his right canine teeth fell off on the side of his face. He looked like a bloody rag doll.
Aly got off of him and looked at the Alpha. Alpha Gab has an admiration on her face as she looked at her. Aly bowed down her head to acknowledge the Alpha. When Carlos became conscious, he looked around and bowed her head with anger when he felt he is missing a tooth.
Alpha Gab came towards the two of them. And Rylie came running towards her, squealing.
"Aly! You did it!"
Aly smiled. Rylie hugged her wolf form in the neck. And her wolf snuggled on Rylie's head.
He wouldn't shut up, so I had to teach him a lesson.
Then she winks at Rylie. Rylie smiled and rubbed her head. "Your wolf form is beautiful."
"Carlos. As the rules of the pack. You shall never show your face here. You choose to challenge your beta and lost. Accept your defeat."
Alpha Gab looked down on Carlos, and he looked with hatred one last time towards Aly's direction before sprinting off towards the forest.
