(Rylie's POV)

"Rylie?"

"Huh? Wait a minute, grandma. I need to sleep. I'm so exhausted." Rylie swatted the hands that tried to shook her awake.

"Rylie. I'm not your grandma."

Rylie's eyebrow furrowed. When did her grandmother's voice sound so melodious? And why does it sound so husky and sexy? The fog in her mind hasn't settled yet, but when she realized it, her eyes flew open. She almost broke her neck by whipping it in Aly's direction. The woman chuckled.

"You're cute when you ramble, Rylie. Let's eat?"

That is when Rylie saw the food prepared on the small dining table. There were scrambled eggs, pancakes, hot dogs, and bread. She can already see that Aly does know how to cook, even if it's only fried for now.

Aly was already clothed and smells fresh from a shower, and she can't help but sniff herself. Her hair must have smell from the drool she had last night. Being a werewolf, she's becoming aware of how strong her sense of smell is.

She sniffed as soon as she saw Aly stirring the cup of coffee. The rich aroma of it wafted through her nostrils, and she got hungry.

"Let's eat?"

Aly motioned for her to sit on one of the foamed circle chairs. Rylie sat on it and peek at where Alyssa is sitting. She can't help but scan Alyssa's whole body as she sipped her own coffee. She bit her lip when her eyes landed on those ample breasts.

Shit! She's a pervert right now!

She was about to turn her head away when Aly spoke.

"I can see you looking at me."

Rylie felt herself blush. The heat spreading all over her face, neck, and ears is too much. She lowered her head. God! It's embarrassing. She felt like a third-grade student caught by the teacher sneaking something illegal inside the school.

"I-I'm not."

Aly chuckled. "You said you will call your grandma. There was a phone in the Alpha's house. We could go there, and I'll introduce you to her."

"Her?" Rylie's eyebrow furrowed. "Your alpha is a she?"

Aly looked in her direction. "Yeah. Got a problem with that? She had proven herself quite capable of leading this pack. I look up to her."

Rylie's mouth formed an 'O'. "Y-Yeah. I know we are already at the age where a woman has the same rights as men."

Aly's mouth curved up in a corner smile. It was the cutest thing Rylie saw a woman do, but if she told Aly about it. She will be teased for sure. She might have a tiny bit of a crush on her rescuer.

"If you finished your breakfast. I'll be outside."

Aly winked at her and jumped down from the window sill of the cabin. It was the coolest thing Rylie had seen someone do it. She shook her head in amazement. All she thought about Aly from the first time they met is all wrong.

After finishing breakfast, she showered, wore other clothes she borrowed from Aly, and went out of the cabin house. She wasn't really that thrilled to meet the 'Alpha.' In Rylie's mind, the Alpha looked like an old woman like her grandma. Imagine her shock when they stepped into the Alpha's house. A group of teenagers is going back and forth inside the big hallways.

"Hey, rogue. You brought another one of your kind."

The guy sneered in Alyssa's way that made Rylie's left eyebrow shot up. Aly didn't acknowledge the man but walked past him. She saw how the guy's nostrils flared.
