(Carlo's POV)

Carlos groaned, opened his eyes, and looked around. With his good eye, he can clearly see that he was inside a shack, and his eyes bulged out as soon as he saw several heads of werewolf spiked on a wooden stick lined up towards what is supposed to be the entrance of the shack. There was dried blood and fresh blood pooling below where the stick stood. And the smell almost made him gagged. It was metallic and stinks so bad, but he can't even lift his hands to cover his nose.

He glanced up and saw the outline of the door from where he stood. Even though there was little to no light, he could see. He was surprised that the witches hadn't drained him by now. He was expecting that they will take his magick then kill him. It appears they have some use for him for now or are they considering his offer?

But it was impossible. Carlos shook his head. No. Witches aren't known for granting wolves like him a second chance to live. He needs to get out of here if he wants to get revenge on that bitch.

He looked at his chains and realized he was spread eagle on the wall, standing upright. There were chains on both his arms and feet.

"Damn it!"

On top of that, there were red runes glowing circling on his wrist. He rattled it. It was a chain with tiny links he should be able to break free. He thought.

Carlos gritted his teeth and tried to transform. But as soon as he felt his muscles grow, an electric shock runs to his body and disrupts him from becoming a werewolf. His body shook, and he gritted his teeth from the onslaught of pain.

Damn witches and their magic! The fact that his wounds aren't healing means that they also injected him with wolfsbane too.

"Shit! Shit! Shit!" Carlos pulled at his chains, but it was a poor attempt on his part. The chains only made noises. Even when he shook his body, the chains only clinked on each other and didn't break.

Just then, he heard the entrance to the shack creak open. Carlos whipped his head towards it, and his eyes widened when he saw a tall man with a slender form strode towards his direction.

The man has permanent squint eyes and never took his eyes off away from him. Carlos wasn't sure if this is the same man that kidnapped him. But he can clearly remember the voice of the man if he heard him talk.

"I'm surprised you are awake after 1 day." The guy looked at the werewolf head lined up on the sides. "I'm sorry my kind is not kind enough to give you proper accommodation."

Carlos's eyebrow knitted up. It is clearly the tall man from before!

Then he suddenly remembered the torture his kind got from the witches. But right now, he needs to survive. He didn't say a word, just looked at the man impassively. Waiting for the card that he will be dealt with, he will try to escape when the right time comes.

"W-What do you want from me?" Carlos stopped the tears from rolling down his eyes as he saw the man took up a thumbscrew. They used it too when they captured a witch, but it was a year ago that Carlos sees another one right here. He swallowed the lump in his throat and didn't take his eyes off of the device. Then his eyes flickered to other instruments of torture on the table near him.

"You see." The man slowly walked towards him, looking at the instrument of torture he picked up on the table. "We don't need your service. We can easily get the Alpha on our own. But I will surely enjoy torturing you. Like you did with my sister."

Carlos's eyes bulged out. He started pulling on his chains as the man gets closer. He remembered the woman they had tortured. They made sure to dispose of the body properly. How did they know that it was them? Maybe the witches' magic enabled them to see the truth, and Carlos realized he is doomed.

"P-Please.... D-don't kill me." He shook his head as soon as the man gripped his thumb and put it in between the two metal plates.

"You did enjoy torturing my sister, aren't you?"

Carlos gritted his teeth. "Y-Your sister tried to attack one of our people! She wants to kidnap a child from our pack! What do you think we will do?! Do you think that we will just sit by as-----Ah!"

The man screwed the vice, and Carlos jolted from pain as the two metal plates put pressure on the muscles of his thumb.

"Ahh!"

"Where is the location of your pack?" The man leaned in on his ear, and it was heavy with hatred that Carlos tried to bite his nose off, but the guy is quick and recoiled away from him.

"You wolves have a nasty, nasty bite...." The man tsked and put his index finger up in the air and shook it. "Bad dogs needed to be taught a lesson."

Carlos felt like he will gag out when he saw that the man took up a scissor. He trashed and pulled on his chains when the man walked up to him. The man ripped the clothes from his upper body and when he was stripped. The man tilted his head and smiled at him.

Carlos knew that there's nothing he could do. He won't even get out of this hell hole alive! He needs to fight and die fighting than give this man the satisfaction of torturing him beyond his imaginations!

He gritted his teeth and starts to transform. Saliva pools in his mouth as he tried to fight the electric shock from the runes on his hands.

"You are still trying to escape, huh?"

The man looks at him and starts playing with the scissors in his hands. Carlos looked at him with hatred in his eyes. The man is cocky, just because he thinks that Carlos won't be able to escape.

He felt the electric shock ran throughout his body, but he held on until his body started growing furs. Carlos smiles, and the smile from the man's face turned into one line. Before he could transform fully. The man briskly walked up to him and stabbed him on his stomach.

Carlos fell forward, his hands dangling on the chains. A shocked expression on his face.

"I won't let you get away. Now. Where's the location of your pack?"

"N-Near the---the----"Carlos felt something choked him as he tried to utter the location of his pack.

If he dies today. He will make sure that the Light moon pack also goes down with him along with that bitch Alyssa Field. But the Alpha's command stops him from saying anything further.

The man looked at him, waiting for what he wants to say.

"I-It was n-near the---"

He felt another stab on his shoulder, and Carlos winced and spit out the blood from his mouth.

"This usually makes them talk." The guy looked at the scissors and looked at him as if mocking him.

"I-I can't talk.... a-about the location...." Carlos gasped. "Alpha.... Alpha Gab commanded us not to tell the pack's location. We will die once we tell it."

"What's the difference? You'll die anyway." Then the man smiled evilly at him and stabs him repeatedly.

"A-Ah!" Carlos shouted. "It's near the Shasta mountain's crater!"

"Told you this will make you talk."

As soon as Carlos said that. His body began to tremble and foamed in his mouth as something invisible chokes his neck. Carlos tried to grasps his neck to stop the invisible force from strangling him, but he can't. He can only spasms uncontrollably as his hands coiled around on the chains.

The man's lips curled up in a corner, then he walked towards the barely unconscious Carlos and stabbed him again, but this time it was in his heart. Carlos opened his eyes wide from the shock. The man twisted the knife, and he gave out the last breath before his eyes slowly drifted close.

"Thank you for that valuable information, dog."
