(Rylie's POV)
Aly bit the rogue's side, and Rylie's heart pounded in fear when the rogue clawed Aly's side. White furs became red as the blood squirted on it. Even though Aly's wolf is enormous, the rogue is not afraid and just blindly attacks Aly.
Rylie shouted to get its attention. She ran towards the rogue and brandished her wood in its direction. The rogue wolf whipped its head towards her and stopped stabbing its claws in Aly's side. It looked at her and started running in her direction.
She stands where she was. Holding the wood in her hands until her knuckles became white from gripping it too hard. But Aly took that distraction to bit the head of the rogue. The rogue must have sense Aly's intention and immediately turned its head and smacking Aly's wolf in the face sending it to a tree. Aly's wolf slammed into the tree and laid there motionless.
"A-Aly?" She mind-link Aly, but Aly didn't respond.
Rylie took a step back. She shook her head and bit her trembling lips. Her knees also began to wobble when the rogue werewolf snarled at her. But her hope surged up when she saw in the background that Aly gained consciousness and started shaking her head.
The rogue werewolf ran towards her, baring its teeth, and Rylie puts her wooden stick on her side to give her best shot at hitting its face. When the rogue werewolf came close. She gripped the wood tighter, closed her eyes, and swing. And she immediately opened her eyes when she heard a crack.
Her wooden bat is split in half, and the werewolf snarled at her. Rylie closed her eyes on the onslaught of saliva that spitted on her way.
The split wood lay on the other side of the tree pierced on its trunk.
Shit!
Rylie backed away. But the rogue werewolf opened its mouth and hunched its whole body. Then she remembered what Aly taught her. So Rylie didn't run away. Aly taught her that there are many ways to beat an overpowered opponent. Use the enemy's strength to get an advantage.
The wolf is standing on its hind legs, and all of its strength is concentrated on its upper body. She can take advantage of that. So when the wolf tried to bite her head. Rylie ducked and kicked its other leg. The werewolf stumbled and fell forward. She immediately ducked and kicked it again on the back. She looked back and saw that Aly had gained consciousness.
"Aly!"
Just as the rogue werewolf stands up. Rylie ducked to the side. And Aly ran towards them and bit its head off. The blood squirted on its head, and Rylie finds herself bathing in its blood. Her nose crinkled from the metallic smell the blood gave off.
"Sorry Beta, but we are dealing with another rogue here----"
"No need. We already took care of the other one." Aly looked at her proudly. "We could be a great team Rylie."
"What do you mean, Beta? Is there someone there with you?"
"Yeah. More reliable than any wolves."
Rylie can't help the smile that made its way across her lips. She felt giddy. Aly just freaking praised her for a job well done.
"As much as I want to hug you right now. I don't want the blood all over your white fur. Or this will stain it more."
Aly's wolf smiled at her or what it is supposed to look like in a wolf's mouth. Then bumped its snout on her shoulder.
Rylie threw her head back, laughing. And she can't help but admire Aly's wolf because it feels as if those eyes twinkled and shined a little brighter.
"Let's go. The mission isn't over yet." Aly looked at the other side of the clearing, and Rylie nodded her head.
"Beta! We already captured the rogue. We need you here to restrain it further."
"We are coming, Hunter."
"Hop on, Rylie." Aly looked at her.
"B-But I'm covered in blood."
"It's ok. We'll just take a bath once we're home."
Rylie grabbed Aly's fur in hesitation, but she pulled her body up nonetheless. She immediately crouched down and held on to Aly's mane when the latter started running in Hunter's group direction.
When they saw Hunter's group, they struggled to contain the rogue werewolf inside a robust chain with blood magick. Aly lowered her to the ground, and Hunter's group gaped at her. Rylie shrugged her shoulders, and they all shook their head.
Hunter mostly glared at her. Rylie knows that Hunter will mostly tell her his peace of mind later.
Rylie walked towards the rogue werewolf and realized that this one is smaller and leaner. Her eyes grew bigger when she realized that this rogue is a woman and the one that Aly and her fought was a man!
"Hunter. Circle her and tighten the chains on her body." With that, Aly transformed, and Rylie looked away, face heating up when she saw those ample breasts and sexy curves.
It was usual for werewolves to be stripped in front of their pack members, but Rylie just can't get accustomed to just stripping off in public. And she just wants to cover Aly's body with something. She just doesn't want anyone gawking on Aly's body which is weird even for her. Then one of the pack members handed Aly a jacket to cover her nakedness.
Aly smiled at the woman who offered her that, and Rylie gritted her teeth. Why does she feel so territorial? Aly didn't even know that she has a crush on her? So Rylie forced herself to look towards the rogue werewolf they captured.
Once the rogue werewolf is tightly secured. Aly grabbed the chains and pulled them. They could bring the rogue werewolf to the pack's location and imprisoned it inside the Alpha's shack. And they also disposed of the body of the other rogue werewolf and threw it in a river far from the pack's location.

"Well? Can she return back to being a human?" Alpha Gab looked at Elder Urwin and Aly, arms crossed over her chest.
"I don't know. But we could wait until later." Elder Urwin said.
Then their heads turned towards her. Rylie bit her lip. "I-I'm sorry. I thought I need to test my skills, and I----"
"Rylie. You know that highly trained wolves can fight a rogue werewolf." Alpha Gab looked disappointed and shook her head.
"Alpha." Aly stood by her side. "I guess. Rylie doesn't need to be punished severely for what she did. She helped me kill the rogue werewolf with her wits alone. It's also a good test for her to apply what she learned from me."
Rylie smiled gratefully at Aly. And in turn, Aly gave her a reassuring smile.
Alpha Gab sighed and looked back and forth. "Well? Elder Urwin? What is the punishment for disobedience?"
"I guess let's just make her do cleaning duties around here." Elder Urwin smiled and winked at her.
"That's it?" Hunter glared at her before turning his head in Alpha's direction.
Rylie bit her lip from smiling widely. Almost all of the elders are treating her with kindness. And she's glad that she belonged to the Light moon pack. But she can't help but get worried with the way Hunter eyed her.
Alpha Gab nodded. "No one is hurt, and we captured one of the rogues. I don't think we need to punish Rylie for that."
Hunter looked at them and shook his head before walking to the door and slamming it shut. Rylie closed her eyes for a moment, and Aly shook her head.
"I'm sorry. Hunter is very protective of the pack. He doesn't want anyone disobeying the rules because when the last one did. We are attacked by the witches."
